The irony would be sweet.........

The 1971 Dallas Cowboys season was their 12th in the NFL. They transitioned from the Cotton Bowl to their new home at Texas Stadium. The club had a first place finish. The Cowboys made it to Super Bowl VI and beat the Miami Dolphins to capture their first Super Bowl Championship. They were the first team from the NFC East Division to win the Super Bowl.

The 2009 Dallas Cowboys season was their 50th in the NFL They transitioned from Texas Stadium to their new home at Cowboys Stadium. The club had a first place finish.........
