well, its been a long time since i've heard the stadium be as loud as it was after the Romo "play" and td. It felt good to actually feel the excitement from my living room. Maybe this will ignite the crowd at home from now on. Been to many games, and felt the lackluster "noise" from Texas Stadium....could Romo be the one who brings the ruckus to home games? I know I lost my voice at home, I can only imagine if I was there. Lets get loud people!

oh here we go again. The stadium sucks.

The stadium has been very good, thank you. I watch a little bit of every game each week and there are only a handful of stadiums louder.

and for what its worth, IN the stadium it was loud and the romo play excited the r-o-m-o chant that lasted the whole drive and most of the third qtr.

when I got home and watched it on tv, I could barely hear the crowd, which ln turn means the broadcast is lowering the noise out so it is not overbearing.

I am pretty tired of these posts from out of town people saying the stadium is not loud and the fans stink. Its ridiculous.

Sunday was my 1st game and I was far from impressed with the noise. After select plays things were pretty crazy but on the whole, the loud times were few and far between.

My experience was great but I did expect it to be louder then it was. No biggie though. I was more pissed at the fact that you really couldn't get a replay because of the "Fan Cam".

First off, it was a noon game. The crowd always gets in a little late for those because alot of people go to church in this area.

Secondly until the game got out of hand the noise was good. Once it was 28-7 it was just ho-hum. Just like it would have been in any stadium.

The noise was good in the first and second qtrs. Not playoff loud like the pats and Commanders games will be coming up, but for the 0-3 rams it was good.

My only gripe is that at this time of day the sun/shade thing drives me nuts, honestly on that catch that CRayton caught and ran away for a long touchdown you couldn't see a flippin thing on tv, wonder if its that bad live as well. I'm ready to move to the new digs, it should have been this year, these are the new Cowboys, I'm so glad BP moved on, he had a way of "sucking the air out of the room". Why anyone values his work as an anouncer is beyond me, he's about as entertaining as molasses, he never has the guts to tell you what he really thinks..

I have been to many games at Texas Stadium and have seen both side of this. Where the crowd is sitting on their hands and other games it gets extremely loud.

Doctor 32 can explain the reasoning for having a hard time seeing on tv with the shade and then the sun.

In a nutshell it is because each camera in the place at each different angle has to use different color temperatures because of the angle of the sun. It is tough to shoot there.

The new place is going to have the exact whole in the roof and I would imagine will have the same sun-shade problem.

If he brings success to Dallas, it will be why Jerry gives him a nice big/long contract. Jerry's gonna need all the help he can get in filling up the new stadium in 09

In a sense it will, but the field is actually set on more of an East/West configuration, so it's going to be a whole new animal.

Well I don't know about that theebs. Over the last 20 years, I have been to Texas Stadium 13 times. Every year I go see the Boys play at Philly, New York and DC, and I got to tell you that those places are louder then I hear at Texas stadium.

By the way, I think we put to much stike into crowd noise. Our team should outplay the other team without help from the crowd.

Whoa theebs...I go to a game every year ,12 years counting. So don't dog an out of towner! I go to the games, eat at Papsito's, and come home. I just thought the Romo play ignited the crowd in a way that I had not seen in a long time. ITS A GOOD THING. I wasn't doggin the crowd, just glad to see some real enthusiasm brought on by OUR qb. Go cowboys.

I'd give Hostile's kicking foot to go and lose my voice at the Pat's game.

People forget that Texas Stadium only seats 65,000; it's one of the smaller stadiums in the league. Places like FedEx Field in Washington seat 91,000. That's a big difference in crowd noise.

Personally, I think the Cowboys being less than stellar for the past decade has led to the decrease in fan enthusiasm. Back during the dynasty era Texas Stadium would get rockin'. The Gailey/Campo years just sucked the life out of the fanbase.

If we continue to play the way we do, expect the crowd to get crazy. Remember the Colts game last year? That place was electric. People were still in their seats going nuts after the game ended.
