He's one of the best at what he does. I'd prefer he not drool over the team like Michael.

Yup I said it.
He is commentating on Sunday. He's working the Saints - Panthers game.

Troy's the best analyst in the game. Only the soft don't realize this.

Troy is an butthole and when you top him off with Buck they get muted and I listen to Sham. I like Moose the best.

I really don't see much anti-Cowboy's bias in Troy at all. I think he's a great commentator.

I agree with you.. Loved him as a player but can't stand him as a commentator.... He goes overboard with the "anti-cowboy" stuff..

The goal of an analyst is to be objective. He and others claim he is objective but he is not. He is overly critical of teams and offers verly little true insight. If he wants to be truly objective point out the mistake and the right way to do it instead of making some absurd comment like "I can't believe so in so would throw that pass". He says the same lame stuff over and over again.

Troy is full of it and I will give you an example. In an interview Troy claims the only time he held up the number 1 finger was in the Super Bowl after connecting on the Harper bomb. I don't have all of the games he played in before that one but I can tell you I counted about 3 times (in the games I have) hes done it.

This is the same kind of absurd comments he makes during games and everyone just believes him.

That's because you're not an overly sensitive sort. You have backbone and smarts.

What's wrong with that?

Troy is great. Not only when he makes a statement, most the times he explains it. In the past some of his comments seemd he was anti Cowboys. But in reality, remove the your fandom, and listen. He was right. He made many comment when we were not very good. He won't go out of his way to say many good things, because I think he trys not to show any homerism. But listen to him on Duhnam & Miller on the Ticket, he says good things, as well as any faults, but mostly on the upside.

I don't care how many times he held up his finger to say #1. I care about someone doing a good job to describe a game and the interesting things about players on the field. I don't care when people are critical. Not even of the Cowboys. I put away childish things like that many, many years ago.

The only commentators I truly dislike are the unashamed homers and their repetitive agendas.

You guys aren't happy unless they are constantly fellating the Cowboys. Have some perspective.

I can respect that but to claim that the other side of the coin is soft is unfair. A lot of people feel this way Hos.

I think there are valid points on both sides and I choose to mute him :)
