Thing is, one can make the argument that if he were a REAL man he would step down as GM - now THAT is really owning up to your mistakes.

These moves were obvious and avoidable long before the season.

I'm glad they are doing something but my gosh we are 3-4 right now.

Why not do the obvious before the season.

Jerry is doing this, not because he's worried about losing but, because he's worried about losing the Fan Base IMO. If he were really worried about losing, he would have gone out and made a lot of changes, not just the ones that, as you say (and say correctly I might add), were obviously avoidable.

One thing I think gets overlooked......lots of time Jerry, Stephen, and Jason ( game management ) act make decisions from the advice of others but what you think happens when it doesn't work out. They take the hit......ever hear them throwing any their people under the bus.

On one hand, I'm glad the Cowboys front office is admitting their mistakes by correcting them now rather than later.

On the other hand, the fact that they did not make these or should have made better decisions before now is still very disappointing.

That seems like a pretty fair and reasonable position to take.

Garrett was in LA to convince Houck to come back supposedly.

All this says is that Jerry needs to lay blame as it can't be golden boys fault since JG is his hand picked stooge, since Jerry views Dak as Elite and Dak isn't getting the 4 to 5 seconds to throw that he needs to complete a pass it must be the OL coach is bad, So the new coach needs to teach OL how to give Dak 4 seconds minimum to throw in Jerry's mind. Just did a house cleaning of assistants in the off season, when does the real culprit JG go? Jerry really is in panic mode at his point , what's next , who knows but with Jerry anything is possible. Will be interesting to see the results come the next few weeks.

No it’s Zeke having 35 carries for 88 yards the last 2 road games. This OL and Zeke aren’t THAT bad. So when finding out why they’re playing that bad their answer was the new technique.
