Bro, I think you need to make a thread about this! seriously. I was the king of the Romo hate club after Sunday night and I still have my doubts about him. I'll go first. At Philly. At NO and AT New York are my "big games" that I want to see him win in. I will happily eat crow if he does do that.
If we lose those games and win the rest and finish 12-4, then Romo will have won no big games? Atlanta is a good team. San Diego is a good team. The 'Skins are a fierce rival. Philly is a rival. Carolina was 12-4 last year and is hungry for their first victory.
They are all BIG games, my friend. Does he need to step up his play when he has the spotlight? Yes. But he has won BIG football games. And will again.
My problem with Romo is: can he win them back to back to back if and when we qualify to play in the BIGGEST games. But first things first. The work and discipline required to compete and stack victories for the first 16 BIG games precludes all BIGGER game talk.
This season is FAR from over and we CANNOT hang our heads over a game in September. If the Cowboys compound this loss and add lost confidence, then I guess that will be good because hey... TR didn't collapse in a BIG game.
The big game talk is nonsense, the performance last night was real. But we have 14 games to improve and we are 1-1 with the Panthers on deck trying to steal a victory on Monday night. We cannot allow that to happen.
