Peyton was not at the same point of his career as Tony.

You should really read the history of the troll you are defending.

Not defending, just stating a fact.....

Thank you for loosing our FIRST GAME EVER in our new stadium.

I dont know about you guys.. but after this.... my faith and patience on this "player" are done!

We need to draft A REAL QB not this charade dude that will NEVER win THE BIG game.

Yeah Romo sure did a horrible job on his tackling on those two long runs that killed us against baltimore after he'd gotten us two straight big time drives to allow us to be into position to win the game.

I'm guessing playing QB on those drives must have just taken it out of him so much that he just couldn't make those tackles on those runningbacks right up the middle when he needed to.

Dang him.

As did I ..... Compare them at the same point of their careers (ala number of starts)

Romo measures up great.

Bro, I think you need to make a thread about this! seriously. I was the king of the Romo hate club after Sunday night and I still have my doubts about him. I'll go first. At Philly. At NO and AT New York are my "big games" that I want to see him win in. I will happily eat crow if he does do that.

Me too. The "Big Games" are Philly, NY, WA for sure, and any game that has playoff implications. Toni threw that long desperation heave to NO ONE, folks. He just threw it up there and hoped that his receiver could pilot an F16 under it. Toni overthrew the man by about 10 yards. That is PATHETIC for a man paid, what, $30 million dollars cash upfront to complete passes like those!!

The laddy cannot handle pressure games, and this game was a pressure game. He has the skills for success, he just does not have the heart or the mind for it. He cracks like an egg when the fist is coming. He wilts, closes his eyes and wets his pants.

At this point it doesn't matter who was drafted where or who wasn't drafted at all. they are both starting QBs in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE and the expectations are the same. One is meeting the expectation and one is not. If we keep giving Romo a break because he was undrafted, what we are really doing is giving him reason for not producing at the highest level (read post season victories).

The guy played a lousy game, he has had them before, but what option do you have right now? And if Romo needs pulled, who choice is that? do you really think it matters what we think?
Well it may be because we know Wade doesn't have the guts to run this team the way it does need run.
If Romo needs pulled, Parcells would of done it. Wade and Red both need to go IMO.

I personally do not think Romo should be benched right now. I think he does rank up there just below the top guys. He just needs a little more experience and consistency. You are not going to get that with Wade and Red. Romo will either recover or he won't and considering his talent, he deserves more than just a few bad games.

Thank you .....

Now I can just go ahead and ignore the rest of your irrelevant posts.

For anyone to compare Romo and Quinn shows the height of Trolldom and means I do not have to take you seriously anymore.

Was I at the game..? yes I was! and theogt this just shows how pathetic you are since you cant handle opinions that are not aligned with you I guess? I have been a huge supporter of Romo and I am just finally realized that he is not worth it!

So do you still believe in this LOOSER QB that will never lead us to anything but regular seaons wins. We need to draft.

I am late?. well yes... after a 10 hour drive I finally have unleashed my anger against this stupid QB we have.
I didn't know Romo gave it up easy. Maybe that's why all the hot girls want him.

I am not saying or asking Romo to be perfect. All QBs and all players have good and bad games. But it seems that Tony Romo will never be able to win a Big game. Happened in Seattle, happened with the Giants, against the Ravens etc. I am starting to see him as a very decent Backup, but not a starter for a team of this caliber.... That is my honest opinion.

I understand your anger than. I spent a lot of money last season to fly out from NY and see the last skins Cowboy game at Texas stadium. I know how you feel.

Where were you asking this question after last weeks game?

And yes, he's completely worth it. This is the same team that Drew Bledsoe was basically going nowhere with, and he gets them to the playoffs. Yeah hebotched a snap, but so what, why was he even in there? Next year he takes the team 13-3, and played fine in the playoffs, just had some drops against a very good defense which by the way went on to beat one of the best offenses and QBs in the post cap era.

Last year we all saw what happened when he got hurt, and by the time he got back the TO circus had taken over. Last year was just a disaster for everyone, but he didn't lose that Ravens game and no one showed up against Philly.

This year he opens with one of his best games, and then he throws a clunker. ZOMG cut him! Start Kitna! Trade for Quinn! Payton is better(duh)!

Dumb knee jerk reaction to a bad game becomes "Tony Romo will never will a big game in his life. Ever never no way no how because even though Payton took three tries to win a playoff game Tony can't do it nope!"

QBs have games like this. All of them. Look around Adam has posted the stats.

I thought this thread was going to be an apologist's wet dream where someone thanks him for all his hard work, etc.

Haha.

Guess not.
