I used to think like some of you guys did.
But I guess my faith in Romo has been gradually faiding away.

I am sorry if you dont share my feeling or points of view on this matter guys, but I will not apologize for what I believe and for what I feel.

Afterall we are here to comment and express our thoughts.

I am almost certain that one way or the other we will have a different QB in 2 years.

How much more time are you willing to give Tony for him to "learn"? 2, 3, 4 more seasons? Do you think he will develop to become an elite QB in the league?

You didn't answer my question. I think he's just fine bro. Do I have a problem with the INT he just threw up in the 3rd quarter? Absolutely, but I also know that he's a pretty good qb and it's just not as easy as saying you want to get another pretty good qb. The other 2 picks he threw I'm not concerned about in the least. The first one was just a horrible throw, and the 2nd was about the biggest flukes you'll ever see in a game.

What consists of a big game to you? Thats what I would like to know.

The thing is, Romo is no longer young. He is approaching 30 and so the window of opportunity is closing on him. This is his prime years, the years where you should be playing your best football. The years where throwing that ball to Phillips should not be happening anymore.

Hes already 29, but Im not ready to send him to the wolves just yet. Im expecting him to bounce back with teams like Carolina, Denver, and KC. And its going to be interesting to see what kinda game he has @Philly @GreenBay. Those are "big games" right? But of course, lets take care of Carolina, first.

Romo and Witten drew that one up in the sand.

:laugh2:

Crayton was supposed to tail Witten and grab that ball.

If that play never happens, the Cowboys probably win.

What consists of big games?

1. His failed attempts to win playoff games vs Seattle and Giants. Performing poorly.
2. Conference games at the end of the season, where he played poorly (vs eagles) and just didnt lived up to the challenge.
3. The last game at Texas stadium.
4. The first game at Cowboys Stadium, with a record of attendance, with the ring of honor ceremony, and with many former cowboys legends present to witness his failure. If that is not big game, then i dont know what to think.

I am sure Aikman and Staubach were laughing their assess seeing our Franchise QB screw it up!

Thats what I'm trying to determine from people. Does it matter what time of year the game is to be big? Because if it doesn't matter what time of year it is then Tony has won big games. IMO there are two elite QB's and one really really good one. Peyton and Tom Brady and elite no doubt. Drew Brees is a very slight step below both of those guys. Then there is 4-5 qb's who on any given Sunday can be really good or really bad. Tony is in that group to me. If he can cut out the INT in the 3rd quarter he puts himself past most of those 4-5 and puts himself there with Drew Brees IMO.

It sounds so simple, right? hey, romo, cut back on your mistakes, okay?

I guess, Romo is just a really slow learner?

Exactly... this wouldnt be happening if we had someone like

Big ben
peyton
eli
or even quinn

Oh,

my

Gawd.

Do you know anything about football other than Madden?

Tell me Ben would have done anything other than collect sacks during the second half of the Giants playoff game.

Tell me Peyton would have single handedly brought Dallas back against Philly last year. Or made the tackles against Baltimore.

Tell me Quinn is even the third string QB on this team - no way he replaces Kitna.

I guess when you look at the picture selectively then you can make it look like you want. I don't think he played horrible against the Giants in the playoff game. He wasn't the reason we lost that game. I'm not disagreeing that I'd like to see him play better at the end of the year, but I also don't think he has been horrible in all those game by any means. Tony coulda played his best game and we wouldn't have one the game last year @ Philly. I'll take my chances with Tony and stand behind him. He's been a pretty good qb for us which is 100 times better then what we've had in a long time.

To me he really only had the one mental mistake in the 3rd qtr. The first pick was just a horrible throw. End of story. The Witten pick speaks for itself.

Was Romo playing defense too?

IT'S A TEAM GAME! Get that through your thick skull!

Romo played a bad game, yet the team did put up 31 points.

oH i KNOW that he is definitely the best QB we have had in a long time. But that does not make him what we need right?

Do you think we should stick with him and not draft or try to trade for anyone next year?

Did we not draft a QB this year? Did we not trade for a QB this year?

Well, there seems no end to this.

In 2 seasons when he is no longer here, it will be interesting to see who we get!

Anybody know what I can do to clear up a yeast infection? The 'ignore' button no longer seems to be working.
