dont get too happy that skins team is about to make a run at 6-0

and the eagles look exactly like they did in 03.

Personally, I don't hate the Skins(Throw stones at me, but Joe Gibbs has always been one of my all-time faves).

Regardless, it's the EAGLES that are threat, so the more early losses the better!

the eagles dont have any playmaker other than westbrook. im startin to think the Commanders are a much better bigger threat although it really isnt sayin much...

Well, wouldn't say 6-0 is a given. Anything can happen in the NFL week to week, ask the Saints.

This is how I see their record shaping up:

NYG @ WAS - NY hasn't shown me enough this year, give this to the Skins
DET @ WAS - I wouldn't underestimate the Lions, but I think the Skins pull it out
WAS @ GB - The Packers aren't an easy walk in any way. I think Favre pulls it out
ARI @ WAS - Who knows with the Cards in town. I'll give it to the Skins.

I think 5-1 is very possible. In looking at the Skins schedule, the only difficult games I can forsee are at NE and hosting Chicago.

And us, of course. :)

I think this is a very fair assessment of how things will turn out.

With 3 of the next 4 at home, I would hope that we would roll out with nothing less then 5-1. I think we have the ability to beat the packers, although, after thier last two games, im not too sure it will happen.

Our offense still has way too many question marks to consider that type of upset.

One day, Andy Reid will realize that he can't field a corp of #2 receivers (Reggie Brown would be a legit #2, and Curtis is what he is, a #3) and expect to go far. This is sad for a man who watched the greatest ever at WR play. They did most of their damage when we were were really, really bad. Now that the other 3 teams in the division have improved, they aren't as dominant. I think even their D has slipped the past couple years.

What happened to the Eagles? Jeff Garcia certainly made some of the players on the Eagles look either like good WRs, TEs or something. I can't believe all those players who can catch passes for the Eagles last year suddenly moved on to other teams. And what kind of offensive game plan did the Eagles follow.

Wow. This was my first look at their schedule and, just wow. Yes, they'll definitely be in the 5-1 range after their win tonight, and Skins fans have alot to be happy about. It's worth nothing that the Cowboys play basically the same schedule, but alot of their more difficult games are earlier in the schedule.

Skins lose to the Giants. Plaxico will own thier DB's
Skins lose to Detroit. Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson? Against Smoot and Rodgers? I think both wideouts will have a foot in height over each one.
Skins lose to GB. Favre will find a way
Skins beat Arizona. Cause they're Arizona.

Skins 1-3 in thier next 4.

like to bet on that?

I see the exact opposite, in fact that skins packers game could be the game where favre is responsible for 5 turnovers himself.

I think the Commanders will lose to the Giants -- no way NYG will let itself go 0-3.
Commanders should defeat the Lions -- defense should shut down detroit's O.
Commanders should lose to the Packers - I think Favre will tear them up.
Commanders should beat the Cardinals.

2-2.

I think the Commanders will be 4-2 to start. Right about where the Cowboys should be.

I just wished the Eagles were playing a MUCH BETTER team than detroit next week. Playing a team like the lions can get your confidence back again

They have a depleted secondary though-Dawkins, Considine, and Shepherd are all dinged. The Lions have FOUR talented WRs-this could get ugly.

Looked like a couple retards out there beating up on each other. Doesn't really matter who they play or whether they win. We're clearly the class of the division.

Man, if the Skins and Boys could keep this up, it will make the last game of the season really interesting, either for the division title or a wild card spot.
