Silly gloating.
Just think, our GM actually wanted him is how I look at it.
Tonight's game makes appreciate you even more for taking Cook before the Cowboys could......
The Cowboys met with Dak pre-draft more than any draft prospect in at least the last 10 years. It was not all luck.Dak has to be the biggest stroke of luck any NFL team has ever had.
Of all NFL fans, I can only imagine that Cowboys fans on this board give our front office less credit than any fan base. We could win 20 SBs in a row and our fanbase would complain that not everyone of our draft picks were All-Pro.The Cowboys met with Dak pre-draft more than any draft prospect in at least the last 10 years. God Father what was the offer that was refused? He also wanted to trade a kings ransom for Paxton.
thats true, but just looking at his poise , and if he gets rattled, he isnt as good as dak.Let's be fair the guy was at a huge disadvantage starting his first NFL game in the playoffs and having their top player on the OL out. Never seen a board jump to conclusions like this one.
But then he drafted Dak. dont really need to beat ourselves up over a draft pick we didn't make.
It's more fun to criticize moves Jerry didn't makeBut then he drafted Dak. dont really need to beat ourselves up over a draft pick we didn't make.
And, how many passes were dropped by Oakland receivers?I don't think it's a real evaluation game for cook. The guy came in the very last game and played a playoff game against one of the top defenses in the league with both his primary receivers hurt.
Isn't he on a franchise deal? In DC Skins fans have written him off, but again, they're Skins fans. He's a tricky situation, they won't be high enough for a top QB in the draft so they're almost stuck with him or nothing. I see Cousins as a poor armed Flacco; a top 15-20 QB but only bc the league is watered down @ QB.Not reason to let Cousins go. Bad int in the last game but not a bad year.

I won't hold this game against him..
Oakland WRs did him no favors. The running game couldn't get going and by god that had the 2 worst starting tackles I've ever seen. It was like playing with 3 o-linemen
I would totally agree. Crabtree dropped at least two or three balls that hit him right in the hands. Cooper was little better. Cook may not have had the best game of his short career, but the loss was not totally on his shoulders.
But but but Derek Carr said Oakland has the best O-line.I won't hold this game against him..

It would be great if Dak beats Brady head to head on Feb. 5. I know it's a TEAM sport, but that would feel so sweet. Not a prediction, just a hypothetical.Doesn't matter look at Brady's career. When you draft a QB in the sixth round and they end up leading you to 6 SB's, winning 4 of them and become one of the top two greatest QBs in NFL history, nothing can top that kind of luck. Regardless what Dak does in the playoffs he's got a long way to go to top the luck NE has had with Brady. He's pushing 40 and is still playing as great as ever.
