Two years ago, the Cowboys were poised to give their new defensive line coach a present by using their 1st round draft pick on Sharrif Floyd. But instead of accepting the help for his line, Rod Marinelli overruled the scouts and said that he didn’t need or want Floyd (because he wasn't "quick twitch enough" for his system). As a result, the Cowboys traded down with the 49ers and used the picks on Frederick and Williams. The offense as well as the defense owes a lot to Rod. In Rod I trust!
