Agree. Well run site. I know I've had respectful debates with many of the mods and others and things always stayed in check no matter how heated things got. People are allowed to have good debates that don't cross the line. I actually enjoy when some of the threads get locked. Stops me from wasting time being right :)

No, this is where we issue beatings to people in need of a toaster. o_O

But I really have some bread that needs some toasting.

I got a new account at the bank because they were offering free toasters. They failed to give me my toaster.

So I figured, hey, maybe this is where I can get a toaster.

I tend to forget how invaluable the mods and others are to my number Uno site in the whole of the internet really are. A big Thank You to all who work tirelessly in a mostly thankless position to make "The Zone" a very readable and welcoming environment.

Yes moderators, thank you for keeping this place from becoming worse than Arkham Asylum. That is basically what it would become.

The mods here are the best I've seen on any football forum. Not joking. I used to be a mod on a Cowboys forum, and it is not as easy as it seems.

Thank you moderators.

Been here close to 10 years, I check the site for info just about everyday and I truly appreciate the time and effort that the mods put into making this the best Cowboy site on the net.

I've been here for a while, and the mods are pretty easy going. I've had a time out or two when things got out of hand, but those times warranted it. No grudges. Things were explained, and it made sense. This isn't fark.com shadowbanning people. Treat the mods with respect, they will do the same. Agreed, good job mods.

Is that why you let my fantasy team abuse yours in "The Zone League" this week?

That happened because I suck at FF.

Mods are great, and it's not an easy "job". Think the only issue I've had in the years I've been a member of the forum is the handling of the Hardy thing, since it seemed clear there was a stance taken on something that is very personal to a lot of people, myself included.

Considering I've been a member since 2007, that's not too shabby at all.

How many of you guys still remember thecowboys.net days?

I remember being on these forums when I was in highschool using my 56k internet connection.

I used to get so angry at people like Silverbear who had avatars that would take 15 minutes to load up on the screen and slowed down the entire page.

I've probably been on Cowboys forums since I was 14 or 15 years old and I just turned 30.

When I read that only 30% of all people that apply for membership here get approved I immediately wondered how in the hell I made the cut.

Haha exactly what I thought. I'd imagine a large majority the other 70% is probably people who were banned that are trying to open a new account.

It's a good thing some of us got grandfathered in. I think there were about 18 members when I joined, so they weren't being quite so selective.
