More proof that the NFL hates the Cowboys Won't let us wear the throwback helmets.

oh, ok...yeah, it was a saftey issue to prevent concussions, as the old helmets didn't meet the new standards and teams weren't going to have all new ones made or couldn't in time for one game use or something like that. I think that's what it was. Or something like that.

The #Cowboys will wear their road blue jerseys at home. They will be the modern navy blue jerseys that they wore against San Diego.

I'm fine with it. Our road jerseys have basically become alternates, since we never wear them.

If the NFL wants the same helmet worn, the Cowboys in future years shouold wear the jersey in my avatar. Those are my favorites. They can wear the same helmet and have throwbacks. Problem solved.

NEVER in the history if the franchise have they worn the blues at home. Maybe Hos knows or some others but I don't think so.

AND...since we are breaking from history maybe we will wear them more.

Anyone know if the Raiders are going to wear their old AFL jerseys with the silver numbers? Those are pretty sweet.

I do think it's funny the NFL isn't letting teams wear different helmets twice a year when so many college teams these days wear a different helmet every week.

Sucks the helmets cannot be different. Some of them were cool. I love the Boys white helmet and I thought the Skins helmet painted to look like leather was a great idea.

They wore the blue uniform with the white shoulder plates from 1960 through 1963 at home, and wore the double star blue jersey on Thanksgiving from 2001 through 2003.

They went to the completely retro blue uniforms with the white shoulder plates from 2004 until 2012.

Other than that, I don't believe that they have worn their blue uniforms while playing at home.

I think it was a thanksgiving game against Denver and Denver were in orange. Lost the game in OT.

Good question. Wash used to force us to wear blue at home and there at times.
