Thanksgiving visitor in white?

When I tuned in to watch the game on Thanksgiving, I almost choked on the turkey. The Raiders where in white?

I don't think I've ever seen a team wear white in the Cowboys stadium. I'm thinking it was because Dallas was wearing their throw backs. But the Cowboys have a white version of their throw backs.

MAybe it was because the Raiders have never lost in Dallas so the Cowboys wanted to change things up? Who knows.

Tex Schramm was the innovator of the Cowboys choosing to wear white at home. He theorized that if the Cowboys wore blue and the other team white it would look too much like the same game every week. Always blue and white.

So the Cowboys started wearing white at home in 1966.

The throwback jersey we currently use was the 1960 to 1963 throwback. So at home we would have worn the blue not the white jersey.

Just following tradition.

I don't believe we've worn the white throwback since the 1994 Turkey Day and post season games.

I love that throwback... it's by far my favorite of all our uniforms. I wouldn't be disappointed if we wore them all the time.

I like the throwback helmet as well, but not as much as our regulars.

Don't know how it would look wearing the regular helmet with the throwback jersey.

I like the white helmets.....they look quite sharp.

I also like the silver helmets.

Aside from the DCC uniforms, the road blues and the throwback blues are the sweetest uniforms in the NFL

The road blues are sweet but the throwbacks just don't look like the Cowboys.
