The crazies are out in the northeast. I mean, even more than a typical day in that wasteland.
If you looked to the east and squinted last night about 8 CST, you could see a faint flicker of yellow along the horizon. That was the thousands of dumpster fires set by temper tantrums in New York, Philly, and Washington.
Philly traded away its draft for a big "if" from the middle of nowhere. The Giants grabbed what will hopefully be yet another bust at corner in a long line of oops picks at that position. The Commanders took a promising receiver that stung a bit, but not overly so.
Meanwhile, Dallas drafted a dagger that they can twist and turn into the gut of the division for a long time to come.
The old timers up there are sick. They endured years of Tony Dorsett. They agonized through countless Emmitt tromps through their backyards. That's two of the top eight rushers of all time. It hurt so bad.
And now this. With that line. On that team. Again. Puke.

What makes it all even better is that there is a load of talent still there on the defensive line for Dallas to take today. Dodd, Ogbah, Reed, Robinson, Ragland, Jack.......yes, yes, and more yes. No doubt at least 3 of those guys were really high on Dallas' board of wants.
Those troubled by an offensive pick need not be. There's excellent defensive help coming today.
And our friends out east can continue their slow burn. This offense is built for now with Romo, and is will be a HUGE welcome mat for the next QB. All quarterbacks will want to drive this Ferrari soon.
Oh happy day.
