There were few negatives last night.

Missed an extra point. Got gashed a bit early in the run game and short passing game. Diggs gambled and lost badly. Brown got beat again over the top. Dak should have thrown 4 interceptions.

But not once did that game feel lost. The momentum this team creates throughout the course of a game was palpable. Then, wow, did the floodgates open when Dallas got two scores up and Ryan had to throw from the pocket. Not a pretty place to be against this defense.

The running duo continues to dominate, and those toss sweeps with Pollard with pulling linemen is deadly. Zeke actually looks fresh and quick for him these days. I LOVED the idea of starting Pollard and bringing Zeke in when the defense gets a little winded. He's still a big load to tackle, especially when he's fresh.

To score 54 points with only 170 yards passing was especially ideal. That's what this team needs to do....run the ball and play defense. Throw as needed with efficiency. Get a two score lead, then tee off on the pass rush and get turnovers. Substitute the defense frequently to be fresh late.

McCarthy, Moore, and Quinn have been terrific lately. This is the way.

The XP was blocked, which I think has happened twice this season now. Something to focus on for sure. Agree with your whole post!

That is twice, you're right. Gotta clean that up. They almost blocked two last last.

I agree with you 100%. The problem is we were playing a garbage team. We did the same crap against the Giants. Switch them out with a contender and see what happens.

But hey, how many great teams are there? The NFC is up for grabs.

The formula is to play 4 quarters, not half the game.. play like that against Philly will get us killed.

The formula is get the lead, pin your ears back and create turnovers.

Si Senor......once this team gets a two score lead after the half and if you have to pass often, then the defense has you where they want you. Cause sacks, fumbles, interceptions...... That was the disturbing thing about the loss to the Packers....they kept running the ball and had AR hitting timely passes and were able to overcome that deficit. The Colts had Matt Ryan.. case closed.

Score 35 in the 4th quarter? Sure, that will win alot of games, but it won't help if the other team is ahead by a mile, because we slept walked through the first half.

Why stop at 4 interceptions? Heck, just make it 20. Dak should have threw 20 but only threw 1. LOL

Moore has been killing it. Too bad it took him 3.5 years to figure out Pollard was better than Zeke.
