Go to nfl.com and look at the play by play recap. It lists the play clock times.

The time is correct on that play, but they messed it up on other plays. They list our first three plays of that drive all at 1:50, for example.

Timeouts were not a factor tony should of been aware of the clock on that last 4th down play and we should of converted the 1st down and spiked the ball and had at least two more shots at the end zone from within the 10 yard line. Lil mental mistakes from the qb cost us a few more tries that could of resulted in a winning touchdown.

There were 9 seconds left after the interception. No way is that enough time to line up and spike the ball. The time for that would have been third down, but on that play Romo threw a perfect pass into the endzone to win the game and I can't remember why it wasn't caught. Anyone?

If he used his big mouth he would have caught it.

Oh, my bad. You were talking about a hypothetical situation where the offense has 30+ seconds left on the clock on their 4th down and 11 play.

Maybe he was considering a hypothetical situation in which Barber had gone out of bounds on the first play instead of wasting 20 seconds by diving ahead for 2 extra yards.

If he goes out of bounds, not only does the clock stop, but we also probably don't run that draw on second down that wasted 24 more seconds between plays.

That is a great point. Barber made a poor decision. The refs didn't help, either. They should have stopped the clock when the Giants were clearly wasting time. Same when they were lying on Witten a little later preventing him from getting lined back up.

So you're saying there was 16 seconds left when tony snapped that ball on 4th & 11? I will have to go back and view this for myself bc i could of swore there was way more time on the clock than that. Even If there was just 16 seconds left thats more than enough time to get a first down and spike the ball for one more play. I hope you're correct about the time you say there was.

He sure did. And what's disapointing is that he usually is so smart in those situation.
