It's no secret I love guys like Murray, OScan, and The Bease. I like to root for guys that don't get what I consider a fair shake. Sue me.

That said, even I can see when constructive criticism is warranted. Demarco has to start wrapping up with two hands when carrying that loaf of bread. This game didn't have to be as close as it was if that drive wasn't killed by carelessness early in the 1st half down in their red zone. Demarco has got to kill the fumbles now and I have faith he will.

This team will live and die with the success of a tough shifty Murray hitting the gates opened by that oline. Randle and Dunbar are nice changes of pace but Demarco is going to be the barometer for our success this year. A solid ground game will make the pass game look easy. It makes the play action magical. We need Murray to be successful. One oft overlooked facet of his game is the blitz pickup. His ability to stone rushers is unmatched by any other active RB on our roster. Limit him to 25 or less carries here on out and ride the wave of NFC East success.

Just cover that loaf with two hands where obviously appropriate and all will be right in the land.

I love the guy and I agree is has to hang on to the pill.

But two RZ turnovers and a dropped likely TD pass inside the 4 hurt the team. Murray, Tony and Harris turned the ball over. That is what hurt us although I'd add the loss of Ro at the end along with a gassed D allowed the 4th qtr collapse. Not getting a first down and giving them the ball back esp with the grounding penalty was more than annoying. When a team is blitzing and run blitzing as well as stacking the box then you need to go outside.

Yeah. There were definitely plenty of other issues today that almost caused us to complete the self infliction. This team is pulling games out this year that we had gotten used to seeing them lose. Great sign! I'm confident our coaches will have us well prepared to go into the house of the 12th man next week.

Fumbles are pretty alarming, in my opinion. INTs are bound to happen. Even the best QBs are gonna likely throw double-digit INTs. But you can't afford fumbles by your RBs and return men. I think Dez even had a fumble or two this season. If your non-QB fumble count is in the double digits by season's end, you have a problem.

You were right to start with Murray. It changed the whole complexion of the game. Everything after that could have been totally different. We will never know.

on the play he fumbled it looked like he had the 1st down. I understand fighting for the last inch but you have to do it right. Maybe it was him or Dez that also fumbled last week but it was punched out on the sideline and went out of bounds.

I'm enthusiastic as well but we'll see. They must not let that game get away or Seattle will do to them what we've been doing.

My hope is that Washington will brutalized them tomorrow night to soften them up for us (and still lose).
