30,000 fans in 180,000' of six SRO decks, with the availability to come and go inside or out as they please. Genius move IMO.

I talked to my next door neighbor who went to the recent soccer games. He wandered the decks quite a bit, and said they were gonna be a great place to watch games and enjoy the atmosphere, especially considering the price.

No excuse now why this stadium shouldn't rock sunday after sunday.

I guess the Stadium will let all the "party pass" people go in just about any gate they want, while the season ticket holders will be forced to use a certain entrance. I think before this is all over there are going to be some seriously pissed off season ticket holders. The whole "access issue" is really getting on my last nerve.

I agree. I really hope they're not planning on allowing thousands more people into club seating area.

I think there will be some fine tuning of access to the stadium after a couple of games are played.

This sounds like a great idea to let financially strapped fans get to see a game live.

I'll wait and see how this works before I go. I'm not sure I want to take my seven year old son (he's begging to go to a Cowboy game) if it's going to be a drunken party.....I want to be able to watch a game with him.

Probably just ought to save and buy a real ticket.

Not sure how it would go. I share your concern also as I have kids and would love to see a live game for cheap, but not if it is going to be a drunken party.

I wish Jerry was as good a GM as he is at marketing.

Don't get me wrong. I would love to participate in such drunken festivities myself. However, with youngsters by my side, I may have to take a seat in the stands.

Those of us that want to watch a game with our kids aren't.

But I guess that's my opinion.....I can't see how anyone can really enjoy a game when they're slobbering drunk.

Oh well. Like I said, I may just have to spring for a regular seat.

It was my understanding that those tickets were standing room only. I think Season ticket holders may feel a lot more comfortable than someone standing for 4 hours.

We'd be one of the premier franchises in the NFL. With multiple superbowls won on his watch.

Nice one Idgit.

On the subject at hand, can someone please explain this better to me. Their information page did not answer any questions for me.

Where are these "party decks"? What is the view? Standing room only, ok... but where am I standing?

Those tickets need to be tripled for anyone wearing opposing team gear. They need to really take steps to make sure those tickets are only sold to Cowboys fans. If they can do that or at least keep them at about 90%, it really could become a true 12th man type of advantage. Something tells me that the guys paying $29 will be alot louder that the ones paying $350.

Party Pass Tickets Going Fast
Posted by nickeatman at 8/3/2009 3:06 PM CDT on truebluefanclub.com

Just less than five hours after the Party Pass tickets went on sale for the inaugural regular season game against the Giants at Cowboys Stadium, already more than half of them are sold.

Those are the rough estimate numbers from Cowboys Vice President Stephen Jones here Monday afternoon. But Jones said the tickets are moving at a rapid pace and wouldn’t be surprised if they’re all sold by the end of the day or at least by Tuesday.

The amount of Party Pass tickets available for each game will vary, but will range anywhere from 18,000 to 30,000.

Those $29 tickets for the end zone levels are available for the first two regular season games (NY Giants and Carolina) and the first two preseason games, although Stephen Jones said they weren’t expecting to sell as many for the exhibition games.

Then again, preseason games won’t be what they were at Texas Stadium, where it could be 110 degrees with no air circulation. Now, you still might be watching the third-team units battling it out, but at least it’ll only be about 75 degrees in there.

That's better. Next question: is it just that area that looks like the corner of a stairwell? Or does it include that area to the lower right with the shiney floor that looks like it runs the distance of the endzone?
