The absolute last Julius v Barber thread

What are your thoughts for next year? Keep Jones and Barber as our 1 and 2. Or trade Jones and have Barber as #1 and Thompson #2. I just don't understand why Julius is having so much trouble at times. What has changed in his running style since his Rookie year. I understand he is over 1000 for the year but i am concerned.

How many times does MBIII need to out-perform JuJo before BP makes the change? This game, more than any, shows that the change needs to happen. He made the change at QB, and it was the right one. Sack up Bill and make the change!

I am officially now on the MBIII bandwagon.

I admit I was defending JJ all year up until this point.

MBIII must get more carries as this year goes on.

Not this guy! Barber showed everyone who the man should be in Dallas' backfield. There was no 3rd and long stat padders in this night. When we needed it most, who got it done in the Barbershop?

Barber at least deserves the chance to prove he is not an "elite" back. 2nd string and splitting carries, doesn't show what he is or isn't capable of. But he is hands down the best RB we have on the team.

I couldn't agree more. Cincinnati wasn't sure with Rudi Johnson and drafted Chris Perry and look at who is the better back. We have other fish to fry with our early draft pics namely getting younger at WR, a FS that can cover and yet again another peg for the front 7.

I don't think we are. I've never said JJ wouldn't be good
enough to give Barber a breather every once in awhile.

emmitt and hambrick is wayyyyyyyyyyy different.

we have a playoff team, we need the best in.

when people wanted hambrick we needed just to win games.

plus barber consistintly pops off huge runs.

julius consistently sucks.

toss him under the bus, its ok he will miss the bus just like he misses every hole.
