The AT&T Crowd

There's just too much talent on the team to be so terrible....it's obvious to me. The team is not world beaters but it is just lifeless. Kind of like the coaches. In a way I think the coaches WANT to be fired. They have no passion at all...good riddens if they go.

Maybe they do want to be fired. How much does the Jones clan hamstring them with "genius" directives? Don't get me wrong, they deserve to be shown the door, but with JJ and his merry band of lickspittles in charge, I don't see a coaching change affecting much but presenting new faces on the old problems.

If you don't want the team to give up, don't start the game waving white flags.

They really only had one scoring drive of any significance (to close out the first half). The first TD drive started in the red zone due to a turnover. That degree of offensive futility will suck the life out of any crowd.

I've never seen such down faces during a Cowboys game. Not even in the 3-13, 1-15 days. That crowd started out towel waving and enthusiastic on third downs and ended up shell shocked. I felt the same as those people. There is no good reason for tonight's performance when we could've been 4-4 and right in the hunt. There were a lot of Titans fans there too which means a lot of fans probably sold their tickets. And for the first time in a while, the Cowboys were resoundingly booed (after Dak's 4th down throw away). Jerry had better be careful. Cowboy Nation could be on the verge of protest.
everyone expected a win tonight, so they were bummed to not only lose , but look so bad while losing.

You guys are seriously overrating Dez. He hasn't embarrassed anyone on the field in years. If he signs with NO, he will have a very minimal role in what they do. He's not going to be the focal point like he was here. The Saints will embarrass us but it won't be because of Dez. They will do that with or without him.

We've been getting embarrassed by backup RBs, Dion Lewis last night, Alfred Blue a couple weeks ago, embarrassed by a 64 yr old Adrian Peterson, a 30 yr old Golden Tate running backwards into the EZ, DBs dancing on our Star, DEs treating Tyron like a broken turnstile in the subway, LBs bouncing off Cam like a 3yr old trying to tackle their older brother, Connor Williams pushed around like a shopping cart with one bad wheel. Dez ain't what he once was, but he still has enough to stiff arm poor Cheeto to the ground like a bully that just stole his lunch money.

There are ALWAYS a lot of opposing fans in the stadium. Jerry set that ball in motion by charging obscene amounts of money for PSLs. The team reaps what Jerry sews in all facets.

It's what Jerry deserves. Is there anyone dumb enough to still say "Jerry really wants to win"??

I think he wants to win. I also think he's old and doesn't want to start looking for a new coach now, he'd rather believe Garrett and Co. are going to randomly figure out how to coach football.

Garrett, on the other hand, seems fine win, lose or draw. As long as those checks keep rolling in, he'll get up to that podium and talk about how we "did some good things".

Of course Jerry wants to win, but there is a fine line between stupidity and ignorance. Jerry believes he knows football and believes he can win his way. I think he is genuinely shocked that things are not working out the way he planned them.

Understood, but there is not a fine line between zero divisional playoff wins in 22 years and understanding the root cause (i.e., Jerry/Jones Cartel). Jerry has presided over 22 years of having it his way and the results speak for themselves. It is the ultimate insult to the fanbase to give us the finger by remaining in power. Firing head coaches, scapegoating assistants is merely putting a fresh coat of paint on a house with ten cracks in the foundation. Fix the foundation or any other move is simply a "fresh coat of paint".

Could see there were a lot of empty seats last night. Hope it continues.
