I thought the good news was that the Giants are a lot better than anyone thought. After they beat us, plenty of people were saying that the Pack would wipe the floor with them, but guess what? That's three quality teams they've beaten on the road -- not just us.

Somehow, the Giants never look very impressive. But they obviously are a very good team. Maybe it's not such a disgrace that we lost to them. Disappointing, yes. Disgraceful, no.

Congrats to the Giants. They did something many people said they never could ... gain more than 300 total yards in a playoff game. Giants only outscored their opponents by 22 points combined all year. The only teams in the playoffs that didn't outscore their opponents by at least 100+ are the mediocre Titans and Bucs. The Giants are not good, just opportunistic. I feel dumb for standing up for the NFC this year and suggesting that the supposed AFC dominance is overrated when the NFC Champion this year doesn't get out of the wildcard round in the AFC.

We may be a better team next year. We may be worse. But I would lay odds that we'll never have an easier path to the Superbowl that what we had this year.

The Giants actually looked pretty darn impressive today. Yes-I will admit that they won pretty ugly last week, but not so much today. On offense they moved the ball consistently well, and on D, the Packers just couldn't find any rhythm.

And wow-they got HOSED on alot of calls-KMB was offsides on that 3rd down play late in the game, a phantom PF call on Madison that lead to a Packers' TD, Toomer's "drop" but the replay clearly showed the ground caused the fumble, etc.

I dunno, the NFC has had some pretty lackluster playoff fields the last few years.

Dallas didn't play at a level to even be mentioned with either of those 4 teams today, they couldn't beat a banged up Giants squad. I'm still pissed they loss that freakin' game...

Well we didn't bring our "A" game to the playoffs. We made a bunch of dumb mistakes including way too many penalties, dropped passes, mystery routes, poor offensive game plan, etc. It was a total team meltdown, mainly by the offense but the defense also didn't get the job done when it had to -- late in the 2nd quarter.

I still think priority one this offseason is upgrading Jacques Reeves. Theres no reason to have him as the nickel corner next year. When ever a team needed a 1st down in the last half of the season they looked for where he was and usually got it, at least it seemed that way.
