The benefit of drafting a QB high

Simple, I believe a high round QB can give the Cowboys a higher ceiling that Dak has given.

If Dak can go all of these years with a bum playoff record and lack of SB's, then the bar is not set high at all, regardless of the padded stats.

If not a SB or two, I believe a high drafted QB can at the least provided the cowboys a competitive playoff era. And who knows, we may can muster up a trophy in the process.

If the Cowboys was going to draft a quarterback high it would have been next year’s draft with all our picks plus Green Bay’s first round pick but they traded that advantage away.

but it really is lottery and this is one of the absolute worst years to want a QB

I believe some high round QBs can give dallas better than what Dak has over his entire career, which is more than 10 plus years of padded stats, a bum playoff record, and zero SB(s).

Thats just dumb. Now drafting number 1 overall and having a number 1 QB sitting there is one thing. Chasing and hoping you land the next Mahomes is insanity. This draft will have Mendoza and after that there is NOBODY who will ever win a super bowl, much like most drafts. I wish we woudn't have signed Dak last season so we couldve been drafting number 1 this season.
