...check out the new sig. I added it because it captures Staubach, the icon of the Cowboys in the Cowboys' uniform at it's absolute peak, imo. The silver in the pants, the perfect hues of matching navy blue in the piping and the numerals, without various shades of navy and royal blue in the same uniform.

Since this photo was taken the Cowboys' brass have tweaked the unis over the years to add blue to the pants and other slight variations. While I still love the unis of today, if I were Jerry Jones for a day this is the uniform the Boys would wear from now on. Absolute classics in the world of sports like the Yankees, Celtics and Lakers!

It's nice but too big:

6) The total file size for all your signature images combined should not exceed 100,000 bytes (100k). The total width of your signature images should not exceed 500 pixels and the total height should not exceed 350 pixels. Animated signature images are not allowed. Violating this guideline could result in your signature being deleted and/or your ability to use a signature being removed.

I agree, that does looks sharp. I don't like the blue in the pants or the blue on the jerseys that isn't Navy either.

Oh, I understand. I'm not keeping it. It's just for illustration purposes.
Thanks for keeping me in line. :)

that is a sweet uniform...but i like the old ones like last years thanksgiving day
jersey. i watched a show on the cowboys channel once with tex schramm
talking about how much time thought and effort they put into the color
of those pants. it was amazing, they tested camera angles, time of day
and i forget what else. they sure picked a winner. thanks for showing the pic.

I agree with some change. It was a bad omen in the 70's and 80's when we had to play in the blue uni's. The signature of the 90's Boys was wearing the blue's and winning.

I love the throwback Turkey day jerseys you linked. Thats my vote - a new "identity" to this team....

Is it just me or does JJ run and carry the ball a lot like Emmitt? With Dorsetts speed!

Guys, I love the TG jerseys also, but let's not mess with tradition. There's no one in the league with a cleaner look that what the Boys sport:

I agree. Keep the uniforms just as they are and use the mostly white uniform on occations like Thanksgiving.

I agree. Very sharp looking.

It just seems that over the years, we have got more and more of a greenish/blue haze to the colors. I would prefer more of a silver/bullet tint like we used to have.

And bring back the navy jerseys with white letters.
