We're probably not going to the Super Bowl this year. In fact I would say it's only a 5% chance. We will probably get slammed by Seattle in 2 weeks, and I fear for Romos life if Houston lines Watt up over Free. Our head coach? To me he's average. Our team has lots of injuries, what's new? We do not have the best back in the NFL, and I'm a Murray supporter. But let me say this, it's the best I've felt in years about this team.
How long have we cried for an offensive line? We've got the best in the league.
How many times have kickers lost us games in the last decade? A lot, but none for the foreseeable future.
When was the last time we had a passionate defense? Being 25, I don't remember one.
And since when do we have EFFECTIVE balance on offense? Not till a month ago.
I feel great about this team. It's incredibly refreshing to see all the things we've begged for over the years slowly but surely changing. Jerry, as annoying as he can be at times, is letting his coaches coach, and is giving Will Mcclay tons of freedom on draft day. Witten seems rejuvenated, and it's great to see my boy Romo have a supporting cast. Wouldn't it be fitting if he wins a SB one day because he finally got HELP!? I will cry the day he retires, whether he wins a ring or not.
We are moving in the right direction. Whether you're an optimist, a pessimist, or a realist like myself you can see it, you can feel it. We need a strong defensive draft, we have to retain people like Dez and Harris. We need health, and I think we need to break the bank for Marinelli. No he wasn't a good HC, he was pitiful, but he's been a great coordinator at all his pit stops and we need some continuity. I think with luck, a strong defensive draft, health, and some key re-signs we could make a run next year.
Just cause I'm 25 doesn't mean I don't enjoy some Kool-aid
