Kinda felt sad as I watched that video.

Jerry was about 49 back in 89 when he brought the Cowboys. There have been a lot of good years with great memories & many not so good. Looks like Jerry's about 67 now. I fully expect to see him running the Cowboys for many more years but the reality is that some day he won't be able to do so and will turn the team over to Stephen Jones.

Now, I'm sure Stephen Jones will do a great job. But you know, I've discovered that over the years I've become fond of jerry. He's made some mistakes with the team but he's always tried to do everything he could to improve the team, just like he's trying so hard this year to win us another SB. Don't want to be maudlam, but sure hope the day he no longer can run this team is very far off.

This post actually made me sad. However, looking at that video and just hearing him talk about the Cowboys and the passion he shows every single day for it? Man, he's going to be around here for a while. There's no doubt in my mind. Even if he's rolling around on a Rascal with a big Cowboys foam finger, he'll never slow down in his passion for the Cowboys.

I know it's said a lot in here, but there really is no better owner in sports and it's not even close.
