Thanks Percy, that's a cool set of stats.

And Romo's numbers are even more impressive when you consider how many more passes he's thrown in those situations than the next three highest rated qb's on the list - Rogers, Manning and Roethlisberger. You'd think that the more passes you throw in that scenario, the more your stats might drift downwards, but instead, Romo has maintained a huge lead over everyone else.

The guy is pretty amazing.

On the NFL network a host by the name of Linda was discussing our game yesterday with her crew, and she prefaced the highlights by saying "We've all have seen the stats of Romo struggling when the game is on the line". What stat is she referring to? Yesterday it was noted that Romo has the best QBR in the 4th qtr. since 2006.

Is there a stat showing that Romo struggles under 2 minutes in the 4th?

Doesn't look like the stats of a choker to me....more like an elite clutch QB...just my $0.02.

ESPN earlier was piling compliments on Romo and showing his "clutch" stats... they end the piece by saying, "Romo will always be remembered for bobbling the snap in that Seattle playoff game under Parcells."

REALLY? Maybe if you **** up about it he WON'T be remembered for that!

I would love to see a stat of the actual choke jobs in the last 10 years. Like, how many can be pinned on the QB.

She wasn't referring to anything real.

By leaving out information, you can make a good performance look bad. For example, no QB has thrown more INT than Romo when tied or leading in the last 5 minutes of a game. Here's the list to prove it:

Most INT when tied or leading, 5:00 or less remaining (since 2006):
Romo 5
Brees 5
Palmer 5
Henne 4
EManning 3
Fitzpatrick 3

Now take those same six players, and include every pass they threw in that situation -- not just the interceptions.
Romo 61 of 93 821 yd 7 td 5 int 96.2
EManning 60 of 99 690 yd 7 td 3 int 92.6
Brees 83 of 130 874 yd 3 td 5 int 75.0
Palmer 48 of 77 614 yd 3 td 5 int 73.2
Fitzpatrick 23 of 39 278 yd 1 td 3 int 57.4
Henne 10 of 34 87 yd 0 td 4 int 0.0

Is there a stat showing that Romo struggles under 2 minutes in the 4th?
In his career, Romo has an 84.5 rating in the last 2 minutes of one-score games. Compare it with other players' performances in the same situation.

Rodgers 91.8
Romo 84.5
Rthlsbrgr 77.4
E Manning 76.1
Stafford 74.6
Rivers 68.1
Brady 67.3
Ryan 61.2
Brees 60.7
PManning 58.9

What she meant is "We've all spread the narrative that Romo struggles with the game on the line..." But she doesn't have any stats, which is why she conveniently left out those pesky numbers.

ESPN probably made up a stat, looked at every game film, says between the time remaining in a game of 1:37 and 1:39 left, he throws more interceptions than any other QB. It probably happened only once, but it happened. So it's a bad Romo stat. They won't tell the times he thrown TD passes between certain times....lol....

Are you sure it wasn't Linda Cohen of ESPN? She is a notorious Giants homer and Cowboy hater.

Romo's putting together a HOF career, just need the rings to make it official.Even without the rings, hes HOF worthy but need the rings to make it a slam dunk, no doubt.

Percy at it again.

Good stuff as always, and like one of the posters here previously said (can't remember who), "Percy just walk's into threads and hits a home run and walks out."

Romo is Elite! No doubt about that.

Does anyone know how his QB rating compares to other QBs raitings over the weekend including Monday night?
