Your team has won more Super Bowls than 29 other teams in the NFL.
You can say "5 Super Bowl rings" as a way to end disputes about whose NFL team is better. (And you can still talk smack to 49ers fans; the Cowboys are 5-2 against the Niners in the playoffs.) The Cowboys have won more Super Bowls than any of their division opponents.
The Cowboys have arguably the finest stadium in the entire NFL.
The Cowboys have one of the largest fanbases in the entire NFL. You can find Cowboys fans in probably almost every major city of the US. Many other fans, such as Jaguars and Lions fans, have to deal not only with a losing/mediocre team but also with being in the statistically tiny minority.
The Cowboys have some of the best uniforms in the league.
The Cowboys get a significant number of nationally televised games.
The Cowboys get a lot of attention - although this can be a good and bad thing. But at the least almost every NFL fan knows about the Cowboys and has an opinion of some sort about them. You'd be hard pressed to find NFL fans who really care about the Jaguars one way or another.
You can always reflect on the tremendous success of the Cowboys in the 1970s and 1990s. Many NFL fans, such as Seahawks, Chiefs, Cardinals fans, etc. have little such success in team history to reflect on.
If you asked Eagles fans if they would be willing to accept 16 years with only one playoff win in return for their team having five Super Bowl trophies, what do you think they'd say?
