The Big Fat Dak is Terrible, stanky legg Mega Thread

I don't recall Romo having anywhere near the talent level on the offensive line that Dak has enjoyed for most of his career in Dallas.
Romo has never played with the roster Dak has been fortunate enough on offense to play behind his whole career.

Not only this OL, but Dak has Pickens and Lamb, with Ferguson. Pickens is basically Dez, with more speed.

2007 he had T.O., Miles Austin, Terry Glenn and Jason Witten, Marion Barber
2008 Same
2009 Miles Austin, Roy W, Witten, Barber
2010 Dez, Miles, Roy W, Witten, Barber
2011 Dez, Miles, Witten, Demarco Murray/Felix Jones
2012 Same
2013 Same
2014 Dez, T Williams, Beasley, Witten, Murray
2015 Dez, T Williams, Beasley, Witten

Keep in mind these years also included some of the healthiest years our roster had seen. The O-Line was really strong.

I don't hate Dak....I do hate his contract. Is anyone really surprised by how the offense performed? We see this every year. Great offense, nearly the best in all catagories then they play a good defense and get owned. New playcaller same results. Dak will bounce back and have some good games.

H-m-m, looks like we'll just have to get used to seeing our team being humiliated. Poor us.
I have an adult son who was once a fan but simply can't stand dealing with this anymore.

If only the defense could've held GB to under 40... darn defense!

See, it works both ways, thats why its called a team.
I'm well aware that it takes a team effort and that winning games consistently with this defense is a heck of a lot to ask.

However. We're talking about this game and we're looking at the different parts that make up the team. The fact is, Dak led the offense to 17 points and had the defense held the Broncos to a respectable 18 points the game would still have been lost.

It does work both ways. So why are you giving Dak and the offense a pass?

Hard to understand your reasoning here.

Ceedee had what 3-4(?) accurate drops in the second half of the Eagles game. The defense allowed 40 points against the Packers.

Its tough to win with those issues.
Ceedee had an easy TD to begin the second half with a well thrown ball. Instead he had to make a great one handed catch on a ball high and outside. Dak's comp % remained intact, though.

Thankfully a PI on another poorly thrown ball gave him a first down at the half yard line.

You're only looking at things from one side.

ANYONE who blames any of the losses this year can be ignored. They have absolutely no clue what they’re talking about.

Not true. Romo had awesome teams around him at points in his career. Even had the only real coach since Jimmy left with Parcells.

NFL record 13 pro bowlers:

13-3 one seed (same result as Dak):

Had the best RB in the league:

Had the 2nd best defense:

I don't know where this myth comes from that Romo had to make due with 1989 rosters his whole career, or that he was somehow short changed. No, he had just as many opportunities as Dak has had, and blew it every time just like Dak has. Dak never got to have Parcells coaching him either.

Seriously.

Anyone who even MENTIONS the defense on this thread does not TRULY hate Dak.

How about this don't worry about the defense it was horrible we all know it was gonna be horrible and it's been horrible all year but how about mention how bad the offensive line was either of eight were penalized a bunch pre snap penalties holding penalties off size penalties procedure penalties and then when they weren't cheating and getting penalties they were letting guys through in multiple gaps clean in that space all game and now it's prescott should have fought through that right?//
Once again a miserable day for the offensive line in the defense the special teams did nothing the play calling was suspect And yet here we are with another Prescott thread a bunch of troll..haterade ,at its beste

I love it when the Dak Stans trot this one out

Virtually the same roster that had like 5 probowlers on it when Bledsoe was qb. The Romo becomes starter and we win 13 games and there's "13 probowlers on the roster"

Probably just a coincidence

Also, please remind me, when has Jerry ever said "we don't need to draft offensive linemen, we have Dak"?

Truth is Jerry did make some of those things a priority late in Romos career but by that time his body was failing from years of beatings throwing the ball 40 times a game while being protected by the likes of Phil Costa and Nate Livings.....
