The Big Fat Dak is Terrible, stanky legg Mega Thread

He should have played last week, too. Good or bad, the staff needs to see what they have.
They had a ton of opportunities to see what Trey Lance could do last season but they kept him on the bench and let Rush play even after we were eliminated.

Jerry decides what the "staff" needs to see

2007 he had T.O., Miles Austin, Terry Glenn and Jason Witten, Marion Barber
2008 Same
2009 Miles Austin, Roy W, Witten, Barber
2010 Dez, Miles, Roy W, Witten, Barber
2011 Dez, Miles, Witten, Demarco Murray/Felix Jones
2012 Same
2013 Same
2014 Dez, T Williams, Beasley, Witten, Murray
2015 Dez, T Williams, Beasley, Witten

Keep in mind these years also included some of the healthiest years our roster had seen. The O-Line was really strong.
The O-line was really strong...

Are you for real   :lmao: :lmao2:

Not true. Romo had awesome teams around him at points in his career. Even had the only real coach since Jimmy left with Parcells.

NFL record 13 pro bowlers:

13-3 one seed (same result as Dak):

Had the best RB in the league:

Had the 2nd best defense:

I don't know where this myth comes from that Romo had to make do with 1989 rosters his whole career, or that he was somehow short changed. No, he had just as many opportunities as Dak has had, and blew it every time just like Dak has. Dak never got to have Parcells coaching him either.
This.

Art throws his hat into the ring to see if he will be the next guy who gets to date dak... good job, Art, but you are low on the dating pole.....

The HC during the good years and the dc and defense is what kept dallas from at least getting to or winning a champ game or SB.
parcels was too old in 2006 and he had his starting qb holding for fg's and extra points, that is just stupid.
wade was too soft ,and was soft on the team in 2007, that is how giants came here and beat them.
after that is was a decade of JG lol.
The 2014 team was like 2007 good enough ,that they should have at least got to a champ game or to a SB.
The HC was just to lame in both those years.
2016 was another year they had a chance, but GB beat them again, partly because of JG.

MM had a good team in 23 , but he just wasnt a good enough HC.

I’ve dealt with this much multiple times.

Pro bowls are fan voted and grossly over-rated. Cowboys players are always voted in, while their record is good.

Journey-men like Columbo, Gurode and Leonard David were in the pro bowl with Romo. Bradie James, who couldn’t cover a screen pass, was in the pro bowl.

Dak literally walked into an OL that fielded 3 all-pros who played multiple years together and RV rushing over 5 YPC on first down and faced the most stacked boxes of any RB by a long shot.

Terry Glen was on the roster for 1 game in 2007

Barber couldn’t even start. The OL was composed of journeymen. Dez had zero speed and Dez didn’t do anything without Romo and so on. Felix Jones was grossly over rated and he split time with Julius Jones who started and kept running into the back of OL. Laurent Robinson and do ok.

Murray was late in his career and was gone

Romo had Jason Garrett calling plays his whole career.

"well I don't like him, he wore his hat backward and dated hollywood women." "Why couldn't romo have dated skanks out behind strip clubs like dak?" "I hate him."
