The Big Fat Dak is Terrible, stanky legg Mega Thread

Terry Glen was on the roster for 1 game in 2007

Barber couldn’t even start. The OL was composed of journeymen. Dez had zero speed and Dez didn’t do anything without Romo and so on. Felix Jones was grossly over rated and he split time with Julius Jones who started and kept running into the back of OL. Laurent Robinson and do ok.

Murray was late in his career and was gone

Romo had Jason Garrett calling plays his whole career.
And they included Roy Williams (the receiver) and Miles Austin on there

Austin literally owes his life's fortune to playing with Romo LOL

Same guys defending Dak malign people like Dez and Amari to prop Dak up, but act like Miles Austin was some all pro that nobody could cover:laugh:

I love it when the Dak Stans trot this one out

Virtually the same roster that had like 5 probowlers on it when Bledsoe was qb. The Romo becomes starter and we win 13 games and there's "13 probowlers on the roster"

Probably just a coincidence

Also, please remind me, when has Jerry ever said "we don't need to draft offensive linemen, we have Dak"?

Truth is Jerry did make some of those things a priority late in Romos career but by that time his body was failing from years of beatings throwing the ball 40 times a game while being protected by the likes of Phil Costa and Nate Livings.....
You think I'm a Dak stan? LOL. You need to check my posting history.

You and others can try and make excuses to try and keep up the myth of "poor old Romo, he never had any team around him better than the 1989 team", but NFL records are NFL records.

For your next trick are you going to try and hand wave away the 13-3 one seed that Romo couldn't get past the first playoff game?

Romo had more chances than the vast majority of QB's ever receive, and like Dak has never parlayed that into even a mere divisional round game because he was a choke artist at heart and shrank from the moment of truth just like he did on the chip shot FG hold, just like he did when the defense finally got a stop in Denver only for Romo to toss a game losing int, just like he did in 3 straight win and in or go home games to end seasons, and just like he did every time the game was a divisional round playoff game.

Look up "choke artist" in the dictionary. It has a picture of Romo with his quote about losing playoff games and living a pretty good life.

I disagree! Dak played like he always does against good teams. He has a tendency to play well against NFC east division rivals.
When is the last time he was the reason they beat a good team?

that team was marginal until Romo replaced Bledsoe

Rant all you want you know it's true

You forfeited any and all credibility when you tried to blame the 51-48 Broncos loss on Romo.

Cmon man.

The reality is there aren't any play off games that the Cowboys would have won with another quarterback playing the quarterback position.

The Seattle game is the only one where he could be blamed and that wasn't for his quarterback play! Even then had he got a standard block he runs it in for a touchdown. New type of balls used afterwards and why on earth was he holding the ball is the bigger question. Imagine Mahomes doing that in a play off game! Ridiculous.

Against the Giants (who went onto beat the 16-0 Patriots in the Superbowl) Romo made the throw to Crayton for the win only for him to stop his route. He can't catch his own pass.

The offensive line was beyond shocking against the Vikings. It was brutal and Tom Brady isn't getting close to winning that game.

Against the Packers, Murray fumbled the ball giving up at least 3 if not 6 points, Bailey missed a regulation kick which enabled the Packers to just about hit a field goal before half time (6 point swing) and Dez took the risk of scoring a touchdown rather than just holding the ball when landing after securing the catch in the air. Romo was excellent in the 2014 play offs.

Dak blew two opportunities against the 49ers. Both games a lot of fans will rightly take the view that if we had a better quarterback we win one if not both of those games.

That's simply the difference between Romo and Dak.
