I turned to the show during the middle of the panel's conversation concerning, I believe, needed changes for teams they felt had to improve in the future. It was at this point that I caught Bill Cowher's comments on Dallas. If I'm correct, Cowher stated that with the number of healthy offensive players coming back in '09 with Jason Witten, Marion Barber, Felix Jones, etc., Terrell Owens was expendable in that mix. He also stated that (not a quote), "It would be better for Dallas not to bring back Owens since it isn't necessary for the team/offense to please one particular player with that many weapons". Did anyone else catch that discussion?

It ain't happening.

His circus?

I take it that you believe everything you read.

You are free to believe whatever you want to, but this team is not better without Terrell Owens.

No way. Holmgren is nowhere near Wade lite. I would take Holmgren or Cowher. Both have won consistently and have the ring. I don't think either will be like BP and try to embarrass his players in front of the media.

You could bring in Vince Lombardi- it won't mean squat!

Don't you guys get it yet?

The common denominator is, was, & always
will be Jerruh.

He's becoming the Dallas Cowboys version of Al Davis.

JJ needs to back off, hire someone to run tha
team, & act like an OWNER not a GM!

Until that happens, it doesn't matter who's the HC!

We still need a QB that doesnt't make dumb decisions
we need our defense to always play strong
and we still lack leadership on this team

This is where a new head coach that instills discipline, leadership comes in to correct these problems.

No i dont believe ANYTHING i read............but i believe EVERYTHING i see.......whether he is wrong or right the "circus" follows him and its bad for team concentration........and if you think it dont effect the other players in the locker room.....you would be wrong

holmgren is spent and soft. never reeled in #4 and will never reel in #9 or #81, etc.

remember many guys posting here wanted Norv & felt Wade deserved to come back just yesterday.

Holmgren is done, for now. Anyone wanting Norm and Wade coaching this team isn't worth listening to.

How about we hire a head coach and let HIM hire the coordinators he wants?

Oh, like that's going to happen...

I completely agree. For those that want to get rid of Owens, can you imagine if roy11 was the #1 receiver getting double teamed every time. I was all on board for dumping Owens, until wathcing Roy on a regular basis.

For those saying "no" to Cowher and "yes" to getting rid of Wade...who would you suggest the Dallas Cowboys, America's Laughing Stock, go after?

I think a disciplinarian is needed. Cowher fits the bill. I think Jerry will stand aside after this performance.

you were bound and determined to get this post in huh?

it took cowher 9 years to win the superbowl. you won't give wade 2. it doesn't matter who we hire (if we hire anyone) if they don't instantly win you'll jump to the next fad coach.

it's bad enough we had a terrible season. let's not become the Commanders to boot.
Normally I appreciate this kind of even-keeled approach. But it seems to me that the particular problem set the Cowboys have (lack of discipline and training) cannot be solved by Wade.

I would agree that I would rather keep the baby and the bathwater than dump Wade and then replace with him with whoever looks good at the moment.
