I'm not sure if this is worthy of it's own thread, but I am going to give it a go.

I really, really hope this can put to bed the posters who were shaking in their boots about this game. All that we had to listen to and read all week is that the Eagles were the defending NFC Champions, the NFC comes through Philly, that this would be a close game. Well it was none of those things. Yeah, the NFC Championship went through Philly, and McNabb now has treadmarks on his jersey to show for it.

Sorry, that's all. I'll end the rant here. But now's the time to start believing and stop doubting. Our team is the real deal. Start making Superbowl plans.

the same types of things were said about the 'Boys for a several years after the last SB win.
No one can admit a dominant team is done until after its completely obvious. Last year was an aberration for the iggles. Their slide started when TO was suspended.

There are 3 teams on our heels - The NYFG, Pack and Lions. The NFC actually looked better overall than the AFC today, with only the Pats & Colts being scary for the AFC.

The NFC is on top, there are a few really good teams in Football, some meh teams and some awful teams, and the Cowboys are in the top of the league, and the Eagles are awful.

It's the good old days again.
