Just noticed that Roy Williams was a huge part of the 80+ yard tipped TD throw that cost cincy the game.

True, and Roy destroyed Marshall on the play.

I thought he couldn't do that anymore.

That was a mild collision, at best.

Well, if he would have played the deepest man and just held up Stokely, the Bengals would have a W right now.

But he was trying to be a hero...

Even a mild collision makes me happy, I want Roy to return to his former self.

Regardless of what team he plays for, he was unbelievable to watch.

I can't believe some can find a way to pin that on Roy.

That play wasn't anyone's fault except for Lady Luck.

ESPN made it seem like he went to go make a big hit instead of play the safety and prevent a big play. While it was a fluke play, Roy does have a history of being over aggressive.

Which shouldn't even be a factor. He made the correct play in hitting the intended receiver. I just can't fault him for that.

like others have said, Roy made a good play on the ball and gave a good smack to Brandon Marshall.. it was nothing but luck, you can't pin it on Roy.. and like someone else said, Roy led the Bengals in tackles with 9, and the next closest guy had 4.. and finally, like someone else said, i hope Roy has a good year, as i too still like the guy and wish him well.. he gave us a ton of great memories his first four or five years and i won't forget them..

Oh brother the Roy Williams hate is beyond insane at this point. Goodness folks get over it. He's not here anymore. Roy isn't the reason they lost that game. He did his job and the Broncos got a 1 in a 1000 lucky bounce. It happens.

Couldn't agree more. Between that and the way Cutler played, that was just the football gods making things right.

I don't have a horse in the Broncos game (sorry, horrible pun) but I think Cincy got shafted royally - and I haven't seen a single report anywhere addressing this issue.

Cincy almost scored a TD with 41 seconds left so they went to a booth review. The review was denied, so it was 1st and goal from inside the 1. The clock restarted, Cincy comes to the line, scores a TD, with 20 seconds left. So they kicked the extra point which, obviously, is an untimed play.

Then the referees all huddle and conference and talk to the coaches and the replay official and the game was held up like 10 minutes. Finally the ref announced that because the replay did not overturn the play, Cincy was charged a timeout and the clock should not have restarted, so he directed the timekeeper to put 41 seconds on the clock instead of 20.

I cannot for the life of my figure out why Cincy was charged a timeout for a booth review (whether the play was upheld or overturned). The clock should not have been stopped and no timeout should have been charged.
