The Panthers are 10-0, but they are only 1-0 against teams that currently have a winning record. While that does not make them easy to beat by any means, it's not as daunting a task as their 10-0 record makes it sound. That also explains the opening line a little better as an undefeated Romo-led Cowboys team (though with the same kind of wins as most of the Panther wins) versus an undefeated Newton-led Panthers team.

The Panther's games are listed below.

Game 1) Panthers 20 Jaguars 9

Jaguars (4-6) .. enough said.

Game 2) Panthers 24 Texans 17

Texans (5-5) .. do they have a quarterback yet?

Game 3) Panthers 27 Saints 22

Saints (4-6) .. we almost beat them with Weeeeeeeeden!

Game 4) Panthers 37 Buccaneers 23

Buccaneers (5-5) .. we almost beat them with a backup quarterback and held them to less points.

Game 5) Panthers 27 Seahawks 23

Seahawks (5-5) .. we almost beat them with a backup quarterback and held them to less points.

Game 6) Panthers 27 Eagles 16

Eagles (4-6) .. we beat them once and lost at the end with a backup quarterback.

Game 7) Panthers 29 Colts 26

Colts (5-5) .. they beat a .500 team.

Game 8) Panthers 37 Packers 29

Packers (7-3) .. good win, but the Packers lost three in a row and Rodgers was hurt and did not play well.

Game 9) Panthers 27 Titans 10

Titans (2-8) .. worse than we were with Weeden or Cassel and probably Kellen Moore too.

Game 10) Panthers 44 Commanders 16

Commanders (4-6) .. another win against a sub-.500 team.

I remember these threads when we had a good record. People would discredit us and everyone would have their defenses up and rightfully so.

The panthers can only play those on their schedule. Being 10-0 is quite a feat regardless of their opponents records.

Should we discredit Romo being 3-0 this year? After all, the three teams we beat are all .500 or less.

I really think we have an excellent shot to win this game. I've thought all year that the Panthers were overrated because of their cupcake schedule. They're still a good team, but I think Romo has brought the Cowboys' confidence back, on both sides of the ball. With Romo, I think we could be the second best team in the NFC, behind Arizona, and maybe GB.

It's like people don't remember last year at all and what people were saying about us, and now we're doing the same thing to someone else. It's hard to win in this league no matter who you play. Good teams just find a way to win.

And sometimes, things just work out.

I see the Panthers locally and to be honest, I think even the locals are a little confused. They are all into being unbeaten, but most are not exactly convinced they can just kill who they face going forward.

This makes me wish we weren't playing with a backup QB all year.

It is interesting, though, to see how close games are for even good teams each year. I'm not sure I can take another game that comes down to the last possession.

This will be the most physical game of the year for Dallas. Their coach, Ron Rivera, has them on a, "let's be 1-0 this week." mindset. They aren't big headed and welcome being the under the radar. They don't mind the lack of respect that they are getting. It fuels them. Cam Newton is a legit MVP candidate this season. He's doing more with less than anyone in the league. I don't know if you guys pay attention to these guys, but he did just throw 5 TDs yesterday against the team from Washington. I think he's the most lethal weapon in the league to be honest. This guy is hard to stop.

Did they beat the teams that they were supposed to beat? Absolutely.

Did we beat the teams that we were supposed to beat? Not even close.

That's about all that needs to be said.

If you subscribe to the QB theory then Dallas has lost every game in which they've had the lesser QB. They've won every game in which they hadn the better QB.

Romo > Eli Bradford Tannehill
Ryan Brees Brady >infinity Weeden
Eli Wilson Bradford Jameis > Cassell

I agree. Goes without saying that anybody can be beat, but im not about to discredit anything Carolina has done.
