The coaches aren't the only ones at fault...

Everyone seems to blame the coaching philosiphies as the reason our defense is playing bad... i agree it is a major factor, but the players are flat our playing like crap.

Even when we are in nickel we still can't get a rush with spears or canty, or even hatcher. The players just aren't performing at a level that they are expected to and everyone wants to blame the coaches.

For as good as this defense is supposed to be, i don't care what kind of system u are using they should not play this bad. I don't know what the deal is because they played much better early in the year, and we are using the same cover 2 scheme. I know everyone wants to blame zimmer, but the players are more to blame in my opinion

The team is just flat out listless, from top to bottom, the cheerleaders were the only ones who deserved praise for following through despite nothing to cheer on.

Coaches are hired to be fired. It's easier to replace the head and hope for the best than revamp the entire team. They're not geting the most out of what they have.
