Don't know if any of you have heard of this movie, but regardless you should rent it. Especially if you're into action movies and even more especially if you're a Stone Cold Steve Austin fan.

It also has Vinnie Jones in it.

This movie was direct to DVD but it was actually a really good movie. Definitely a "Guy" movie.

If you've got netflix, add it to you queue. I think you'll like it.

Yeah I just got it on netflix. I thought it was gonna be ultra cheesy but it really wasn't. It was a lot better then some "Big Screen" movies I've seen lately.

I never cared all that much for Austin's wrestling schtick, it was a little too over the top for me (though reportedly, he tries to live up to his in-ring image in real life, much to his detriment)... but I can see it translating well into an action "hero" role... and I rather enjoyed the line I saw in a trailer:

"If you stay down, we don't have a problem"...

The guy gets up, and is HUGE...

"We have a big problem"...

That's pure Stone Cold, and it cracked me up in this case...

I liked his "fued" with McMahon. The time he drove the beer truck to the ring and turned the hose on McMahon was hilarious. :laugh2:

It had a theatrical release. A very short one, but it was released. Definately not a movie I'd pay to see, but since I get Blockbuster online for free and I like to see as many movies as I can, I will rent it eventually.

If I see it on one of DirecTV's premium movie channels and I have some time to sit down and watch it, then I'll watch it... I get all of their premiums...

That's what I did when John Cena's movie "The Marine" came out... it was a big disappointment, basically little more than a series of big explosions, until the last couple kinda lost their ability to "wow" even the most hardened of action film fans... the only high spot in it, I thought, was the villain (the guy who played the bad Terminator in "Terminator II", they even made a joke about it in "The Marine")... Cena did an OK job, but that's about as kind as I can be... he's not the next Rock, for sure...

Naturally, I'll have to wait to see Austin's newest efforts to pass judgement on it... all I can say is it won't be hard for him to be a better actor than Hulk Hogan on his best day...

I keep thinking Hollywood ought to make a remake of "The Dirty Dozen", using as many of today's top action stars as you can-- I mean, every "name" action star from the last 10 years... it would be a big budget affair thing, obviously, but fans of that genre would just flock to it, I'm quite sure of it... I'd feature a number of these wrestlers turned actors, knowing that WWE fans would storm the box offices around the country...

Yeah, The Marine was bad. 85 minutes of a guy jumping out of an explosion in slow mo over and over and over. That's quality action right there. Genius. I wish "wrestlers" would stop making movies (and everything else for that matter). The Rock is the only one that has shown he could be decent, but that was only in about 2 movies, the rest of them were still a bunch of crap.
