Here's your chance to come out fellas. No, this isn't about Jeff Garcia or how you can relate to Broke Back Mountain. This is about something totally different.

Something called 'man-love' ... :eek::

Well, times have changed .. and so have the players who've cycled through Dallas' roster the past few years ...

If you've had man love for a player recently, there's a good chance your heart may have been broken ...

I confess, my heart was shattered when Dexter Coakley was released ... my man love torn to shreds ...

But we have to move on ... and we have to keep up with the vicious cycle of revolving player to which our hearts can fall victim to man-love ...

It's not something you learn, you're born with it.

So, I ask you. Which (current) player do you confess to having serious man-love for? -And why?

Well, that's cool and all, but I was thinking more along the lines of current players ...

For example:I have a man crush on Marcus Spears. I don't love him just yet, but there is potential for something more serious.

On offense, I'll confess my love for Terry Glenn and Drew Bledsoe. I've fallen for those two. I know, I get around.

Oh, and love is brewing for Marion Barber. I think he'll prove to be a better running back than Julius Jones this year ...

I have man love for Terrence Newman, because I noticed him when he was just an anonymous nobody sophomore walkon at K-State when nobody knew who he was. I saw him saw flash his speed by breaking up a pass in a game and knew right away he would be a Top 10 pick. I would watch every televised K-State game from then on just to keep up with him, and he was just amazing. He just completely shut down everyone, except for Raushaun Woods who just got away with murder with pushoffs (it hasn't translated too well to the pros).

Tell me about it.

While I didn't really know all that much about him, just watching him last year gave me that tingly feeling ...

.. and I haven't felt that way about a cornerback in quite a while.

Then, there's Henry. He's the complete package. Covers well, tackles, team leader etc ...

No one said the love was limited to one player ...

Ooooh this is an easy thread for me... I mean, really. Do I need a reason to have man-love? ;) :D

Canty, Canty, Canty... just cuz

Spears...just cuz

Julius (when healthy)...love his explosiveness

Roy...putting the hammer down on folks

Newman and Henry...I like the way both play the run. They can really put some pop on folks.

-------
Before they were released, I liked Keyshawn and Glover.

And you guys know who will always be forever my boy... ;)

I'd probably say Terry Glenn. He's been through a lot and has been pretty much the perfect teammate for the club. He's made some mistakes in the past and sometimes I think people are too ready to give somebody a "death sentence" instead of thinking that they can redeem themselves. Granted, there's a fine line between giving a guy a second or third chance and watching him redeem himself and giving a guy a second or third chance and watching him waste them.

And despite him playing very well there's so many people that think very little of his skills. Even Michael Irvin doesn't think much of him as a receiver. Despite that, he just keeps playing and proving people wrong. He admitted that he would like to get a raise, but never made a big stink about it and in the end he was rewarded for in my mind, doing things the right way.

Felt like I had to add this to compensate for the nature of the thread.
