This article shows why teams are still obsessed with Cowboys Envy.
Correct me if I am wrong.
But we had a lot of mediots out there, and our own share in the DFW area. But I don't recall very many, if any at all that write articles geared to downplay other teams. That purposely are against our rivals or any team. But yet all across America, writers from other cites are always writing stupid article putting down the Cowboys.

And I don't mean articles that have some truth to it, like...the Dallas pass rush needs help...but I do meant articles being way off based most of the time. Like the Romo choke articles type stuff, or have the worse returning lineup...pretty lame....

At this point I don't plan on seeing Irving, Tapper, and Mayowa. Just based on not practicing this week and Mayowa just being activated. I'd like to see Mayowa but it may have to wait a week.

They will be low in numbers on the DE and in the backfield.
Only Morris and Jackson will be at RB. Rod Smith is out with an infection, so Keith Smith the only FB.
Mayowa though practiced, limited, so have not heard if he will play for sure. Nor anything on Tapper. So if they don't surprise us and play, and with Irving out. DLwa may get in there more some snaps. I would think a series or two.

The impression I am getting from some of the media and members in here are that the Cowboys will only get 7 or 8 sacks this year. All I was saying is that is won't suck like that at all and actually might surprise those with such low expectations.

It actually doesn't. You can convince yourself, for some reason, that Jenkins has a really good shot to make the 53 but unless he's just that unbelievable or we have a rash of injuries, you should prepare yourself for not seeing much of Jenkins come this season. I think he was brought in simply as roster fodder as the team dealt with some injuries.

To even be league average in sacks in 2015, which was around 38 sacks for the season, the Cowboys need to pick up 7 sacks somewhere from last year's number.

The year before, league average in sacks was around 39-40.
