This is what I would do as a kid. Even in bad years, I looked for the silver lining.
Back then it was a 14 game schedule, and 12-2 was the record that usually meant the Cowboys had home field advantage through the playoffs, and were going to the Super Bowl.
Even I love the aesthetics of seeing Dak play well on offense and the way Williams is running the ball. Having CeeDee Lamb back to go with Pickens is a dream come true for Cowboys fans.
The defense could improve if they believe that the offense will be there for them in crunch time.
And the Cowboys have the best kicker in the history of the NFL.
So it all comes down to believing in the plan, and Dak performing at a high level, even when things aren't going well. This is his chance to prove he is for real.
Not saying it will happen, but the Cowboys we grew up loving could make it happen.
