...with defense, get that out of your minds right now. You wont keep them from scoring, so your only other option is to outscore them early enough and try to hold on to the lead (if you can)
The only way the Cowboys are going to beat the Eagles is to score early and often. The Eagles are averaging 28 points a game so the Cowboys will have to change their very conservative nature for this game and open the playbook wide open. Throw down field, run off-tackle, run outside, pass to open up the run instead of the usual, move the pocket, go no huddle, throw on first down, go 4 wide, go 5 wide. Use the height advantage of Keyshawn and Crayton. If you go for it on 4th down only do it straight ahead behind LA. No handoffs to Polite. If Julius is hot keep him in, if he's not try A Train, if neither is gettin off, throw the damn ball. The Eagle are going to try to take to Boys out early with bombs, they are well aware of the weakness in the secondary, the Cowboys just need to open it wide and take a lot of chances and forget about protecting themselves for the press conference.
