I know everybody's happy we won, and very impressed with Dak gutting it out, but I'm betting you when they look at the film and deconstruct the decision making for most of the game, it's an argument for a veteran like Tony.

You guys seem to forget that Tony's won dozens and dozens of games like this. And he doesn't get confused by any blitz Jim Schwartz throws at him, period. To Dak's credit, the played through it and came out of it with the W. But we got lucky tonight, guys, too.

You could see the kid beginning to figure it out in the fourth and into that overtime. Type of game which doesn't look pretty but will pay off down the road.

He also threw a would be interception when it mattered most on a ridiculously awful throw. He got dragged to a win by the defense and the rest of the offense. At the very end he decided to chip in a little. I know QBs have bad games with poor decisions and all, but he could barely hit the broadside of a barn half the time. That was accuracy problems to an extreme. We were lucky tonight. Thank God for the defense.

And screw the refs for taking away another 100 yard day from Zeke (and the coaches a little too).
Arm Chair quarterback ladies and gentlemen.........good lord dude...did you not see the eagle defense? Division game? Seriously.

I thought that Dak played miserably tonight. Having said that, he hung in there and I think his nerves calmed down in the 4th qtr. In overtime, he was back to being vintage Dak Prescott.

There is more than one person here hoping we'd lose tonight just so they could say it's time to put Romo back in.... and some can't help themselves and are doing it anyway. Not happening.

I'm willing to bet you or anyone money that Dak's impressive gutty finish keeps Romo on the sidelines holding a clipboard for the next several weeks.

Quarterbacks and the teams they lead don't always win pretty. You have to win ugly too and that was one of the grittiest ugliest WINS of the year.

You can't argue that Dak didn't show some holes in his game tonight... It was not pretty..

All along though we have liked Dak for not only his ability but also the belief that there is something special about him.

Yes he was awful but he did nothing but confirm that he has the IT FACTOR.

Game on the line and he gutted it out!

I am also surprised Schwartz called off the dogs late.

I'd like to apologize to you that Dak didn't lose the game. You were really hoping he'd lose this game so that you could prop up old Romo. Maybe next week.

Yeah, likely.

You know, I'm not really opposed to putting Romo back in. We all know Romo can play and he won't **** the bed. Chances are, we won't have many performances like tonight.

But the thing that bothers me is people going out of their way to discredit what has been an amazing rookie season. We're 6-1 with a rookie 4th rd QB. There is no team, no fan in the league that would turn their nose up at that.

I don't care which QB you want, there is no need to disparage Dak and what he's accomplished.

Dak's a straight up beast. Way ahead of where Tony was as a rookie, and the best rookie QB in the league right now as far as I'm concerned. If we didn't have a truly fantastic QB in front of him, keeping him is a no-brainer. Even as it is, I think it's something you look at very carefully and seriously consider.

That said, I think this team already knows Tony is coming back, and it's not a secret. You have Lawrence alluding to it in interviews this week, and just listening to how Witten dishes out praise for Dak....he handles that much more reservedly if he thinks Dak's really replacing Tony. I just don't think it's nearly as much of an up-in-the-air decision inside the locker room as it looks to be from the outside.

I might be wrong, though. Either way, I love Dak every bit as much as the next guy. This was a huge win tonight.

So...he actually gets challenged and sucks pretty hard and we make excuses for his play?

I think this game illustrated exactly what some people have been saying.

He's young. He'll have plenty of opportunity to improve, but he was bad tonight.

Tonight really made me question what I saw from him the past couple months. He was really bad. And not just when being pressured. His throws were all over the place. He had a good run. He needs to take a month and collect his thoughts and let things slow back down. This has been a great learning experience for him. It will be his team at some point but it's obvious that's not now.
 This sucks for you doesn't it. Us winning...and all.. Dak showing poise and composure after a pretty lousy game... The fact that he's started 7 games and just beat a tough divisional opponent.. we haven't beat philly at home in 3 attempts but who cares...

These folks crack me up man.

First it was... Gotta beat the Pack...

Then it was... Gotta beat the Eagles...

What now?

What's the next Romo loving request? It appears to be a moving target.......

I'm not going to disagree with you but I have a question for you...

How many ROOKIE QBs struggling would have gutted that win out like he did? Hat was not typical.

The throw to Beasley in overtime was bigtime as well.. He might have had a whole second to throw..

Linehan was back to the long drawn out routes against heavy blitzes.

Show me who you are WHEN IT COUNTS? I'm not about to start with this ******** tonight.. but I remember a game in 2013 where we scored 48 points. Stats and style were through the roof... but we threw an int in the last couple minutes of the 4th WITH THE GAME ON THE LINE. I've seen rookies let a game like this get away soooo many times. There are so many lessons to learn in the NFL. Dak came up big when it counted. He made a ton of errors tonight but he stuck with it and showed guts.
