Garrett ran them both out of town by undermining them, blaming them and getting Jerrahs loyalty.

But the worst pass defense in NFL history is Romos fault thats the wisdom

There is only one stat that is most important. The final score.

Yards allowed is still very important -- if the opposing team is rolling up the yards they are typically controlling the clock and preventing your offense from getting many opportunities.

points is more important. yielding an 80 yard field goal is better then a 70 yard touchdown drive.

I care far more about TOs than YPG, and we are doing stellar in that category. The problem, however, if that we are not capitalizing on the turnovers. If we had yesterday, it would have been a blow-out.

yards are no where near as important as points. BUT they certainly are an indicator of doing either something right or wrong.

turnovers are not everything. You get to rely on them and you will lose.

yeah,,, "yards" aren't important..

Says 329 Yards against the Cowboys from C. Johnson. EXTENDING drives , eating up more yards and time off of the clock. All the while Dallas does what they do best..... Which is..? Hrmmm.. I don't even know..

EVERYTHING and every part of the game is important to Dallas. They need all the help they can get. They're just not that good.

We do we fall compared to the other two?

but nevermind, I looked it up. the saints are giving up 17 points a game

We give up 23 and Wade Phillips is giving up nearly 28 points a game.

Wade is giving up 21 a game. That offense is good for at least one pick six a game.

Wouldn't ypg be more telling as your defense is on the field defending that the entire time while the ppg is not necessarily in the defense control all the time as pick 6's, special teams touchdowns, etc are counted towards it.

neither stat is perfect, but games are decided by points, not yards. yesterday for example, the turnovers happened after long drives, so although the turnover is a great stat, it didn't do much to the total yardage stat. proving how easily flawed it is.

Number 2 in turnover differential in the league behind only KC with +9.

Which is great, if the offense can actually do something with them.

The G-men turned it over six times, and it still came down to the fourth quarter to win. The Lions turned it over four times, we surrendered over 600 yards, and we lost.

The offense is utterly pathetic.
