It was the 4th quarter, Cowboys were down and It was time for quarterback Tony Romo to show the nation, just exactly what he is made of. Up until this point we can only begin to fathom, how head coach Jason Garrett was feeling nor how frustrated he was considering the struggle that was displayed playing at home against their long time division rivals. But it’s safe to assume he wasn’t pleased. It should have never come close to those final seconds in the last quarter, which knowing now would lead to the game winning drive. Leaving with that “W” came with a cost. The Cowboys entered the game on Sunday night with plenty of question marks.

Unfortunately I didn’t see many of them answered. Not to mention I would have to say they left with even more. The Dez Bryant and Tony Romo connection has never been more on point. They are constantly reading each other in a way that is nothing short of jaw dropping. To opposing fans and our very own “Cowboys nation”.

No matter how optimistic we try to be, there is no denying that the cowboys offense is going to take a major blow, with the loss of our star wideout. But the real question, and to be blunt the real test is to overcome it. The Cowboys franchise has to have the “next man up” motto and mind set. Or they can kiss any post season hopes goodbye, right along with Dez Bryant’s broken foot. So again I ask, Can the Cowboys survive this devastating blow? Yes absolutely they can, and I will tell you how. First and foremost, this will take them coming together as a team. Nothing short of that. That is the one and only reason our boys in blue were able to steal that win from the Giants on Sunday night. They came together in the moment of the most severe adversity. No matter who believed In them at that moment they believed in each other. They rose above their average expectations and did exactly what playoff contending teams do. Played hard and played without conscience. They didn’t have Dez’s injury as their focal point. But, instead they focused on starting their season AT HOME, with a win, and they did JUST THAT...
