The Deal with Sean Lee?

For some odd reason there's more than a few Sean Lee haters in the fanbase. I'm not one of them.

That said, more than anything I picked up in Week 1, he really looked out of sorts today on the field, taking bad angles (thinking specifically of the Matt Jones rushing TD) and missing tackles.

Anyone else pick up on this?

This defense needs him to be the glue on the field this season.

He had a rough week 2. I think he'll be okay, but the D is so bad overall it might not matter how he's feeling.

He had a knee or leg injury in preseason if I remember correctly, so it's possible he's not fully healthy. Not making excuses because if he's on the field, he needs to be able to play, but that could explain the reason he's been below average these two games.

He looks slow physically. But the angles he has been taking lately are disturbing.

It is almost like he doesn't trust what is around him. Usually he is very decisive.

That said, the series of plays he had with Durant were pretty good.

im not worried, im not a hater, but the body is a big ol question mark. Frankly as i stated and stand by, "i dont care if you have a corvette, it doesnt do you any good if its in the shop"


to his biggest pro, hes still the smartest defensive guy on the field

Looks like he is playing not to get injured, tentative. He has his moments and I think he will play through it and gain 100% confidence soon enough.
