Sighhhhhh......

The dude was 20 years old, and now what 22?? Good grief I'm glad I didn't play pro football!! I would made all these guys look like choir boys at that age!!

Zeke is a smart dude. He will figure it out. Look how mature Dez is now. The guy couldn't speak in complete sentences when he entered the league!

This is the mentality instilled in men these days.

If he's innocent then it's on him to stop being falsely accused of things. It couldn't possibly be on the women to not, ya know, lie.

Zeke Elliott. You need to step up and stop these victims from lying. Right now.

It's like yelling at someone for getting cancer.

Thank. You.

Lol @ Zeke needing to change because some bitter chick lied on him.

The worrying about Zeke on this site is pathetic. He will be fine.

In that instance...I think he was getting screwed. It's the pulling the other girls' top off...that's crossing the line. And the way the league suspended him....for the first domestic incident...tends for me to believe if he fights it...the league can turn around and whack him again for the gropping. He's screwed either way. He's gonna sit 6 games....and really...he's lucky it isn't longer.

supposedly, the league wasn't going to suspend him for that. the suspension is all about the stuff from ohio state... which is repudiated by the fact that zeke wasn't even in town when she claimed to have suffered injuries at his hand, and by the fact that her own friend claimed she lied about the incident when zeke supposedly pulled her out of a car.

look, if zeke had done the things he's accused of, i would say to throw the book at him. but the girl lied, multiple times, and the cops dropped the case. the girl didn't even file a civil suit. the only thing we know *for certain* is that the girl lied.

it is more than embarrassing for the league to pursue this. it is worse than overstepping its bounds in pursuing a case of apparent guilt that just doesn't meet the legal definition of guilt. it is defamation of character in an attempt to exonerate the league for its past failures, pure and simple. that is unacceptable, for any player, for any employee, for any citizen. and it is actionable.

We all hope, but no one knows.

We know he sees the gravity of the situation; we know he wants to be great, to make a fortune, to be a super star, to make the HOF.

No one knows if he will develop the discipline needed in the offseason.

And everybody knows it now. He's a target.
Yep........no drinking, no smoking, no dancing, no speeding, and especially no sex.

Dude should leave practice and go straight home and just play World of Warcraft all night long. (That was all the rage back when I was in college at UT, don't know if it's still popular nowadays)

these types of threads never stop. you need to get a life besides the Cowboys. Go out...get some fresh air...have a beer...talk to actual humans....stop obsessing over ever little thing...
Lol, if you only knew...

Don't worry, buddy, my life is plenty interesting.

Dez has a hatred for drugs and alcohol. He grew up around too much of it. Zeke is much more vulnerable.

everything I have heard about Zeke says he is a fun guy, loves to play football and party. Which a lot of very famous guys over the years did in the NFL. Going way back for some here remember Paul Hornung from Green Bay?
Sadly in todays NFL and todays society those kinds of guys cannot survive anymore. too many looking for what they can get out of them and too many jealous of them.

One thing. Once again from all accounts Zeke is a nice guy- another reason I do not think he did what he has been accused of.

This is another typical and predictable--and pathetic--attack on someone who is honestly concerned about what constitutes a very big deal.

Zeke's behavior is a very, very big deal.
To add, he took the time to read through the thread and then comment on it. The subject of the thread was pretty clear just based on the title. But by all means, tell others to get a life.

Last I heard this isn't drug or alcohol related....this isn't about he and Bosa as college roommates. Let's not confuse the facts here.

I don't have much faith in Zeke staying clean. This guy obviously has problems and he needs help. I hope he see's the light and gets some help.

I haven't spent much time keeping up with Zeke, how do we know this?
We don't but the person you quoted probably lives a boring life so anybody having fun is them extreme things he said. That what happens when the green eyed monster seeps in.

I realize that, but there's way too much smoke.

Bosa moved out from Zeke because he couldn't handle the level of partying Zeke could and still perform in games. He left to improve his draft position with better play. Zeke's reputation at Ohio State was that he loved the party drugs like mollies, ecstacy, and weed. 100 miles per hour all day, every day.

Zeke texted a girl that he knew how to beat the drug test. He walked into a pot shop. He pretty much partied the entirety of the offseason. He's always on the go. Never misses a scene or a party.

Way too much rumor and innuendo. I worry that it's just a matter of time before this gets him.

People never change unless they want to change. He needs to ratchet it down. Can he?

I hope so because I hate it when your team is held hostage by its star players. I've seen these situations for too long in too many sports from too many players.

Not arguing w you E, dez is more mature now but a couple of months ago he popped 10 bottles of Ace at my boys club and he told me he lost 15k playing blackjack. Then we argued why i didn't have him on my fantasy team. Lol

Overall he has matured a bit!

No.

Way to complete misunderstand the point. Which isn't in the least surprising.

He can't control what she says or does, or what anyone else says or does.

But he can control what he does and who he's around and the types of people and situations he puts himself in.

Which is why it's on him to take care of himself just like it is for everyone else.

Does it suck that she falsely accused him? Hell yeah it is. That really sucks. And I feel for the guy. But that doesn't stop her from doing it or from any other scumbag people of the world from doing that to him, or anyone else.

But you can help yourself, as he can himself, by surrounding yourself with better people. And better situations and such. It's pretty simple, really.

I'm not in the least bit surprised that you're not capable of comprehending that very simple fact of life.

The question I have is why do I seem to be able to accept Goodell's decision and recognize Zeke's bs, but others have the opposite opinion and treat Zeke like family. I even own a Zeke jersey. I'm a fan. But I also know he laid hands on her. I also know she's white trash and was a gold digging revenge seeker. I see the best and the worst in all of these characters. If you disagree don't @ me I don't want to debate this anymore.

For the record, I do think Zeke is gonna grow from this and be just fine. Kind of like Dez.

Then your no better than the commissioner - who makes judgement based on opinion and emotions rather than true factual evidence.
