I know there's obvious ones, but last year when we lost we were always in it, except for the Commander game. This year, were getting our butts handed to us. Whats the difference? Romo?, The Defense, I think were a better team this year, but last year was atleast exciting when we lost, this year is depressing

the difference between this year and last year is that last year we didn't have any 2004-like defensive performances like we've had for the past few weeks this year

Yeah we were close in most games but those losses hurt more and even the wins had posters here claiming we were crap and lucky to win a close game.

Hey, maybe posters here just like to complain?

You might be on to something....at least Bledsoe kept us in games and knew how to pull the win out despite poor statistical performances.

One difference is the fact that Dallas has Adams and Colombo as the tackles instead of Petitti and Tucker.

Also, Gurode is not getting blown off the ball the way Al Johnson was.

Because Dallas has more firepower this season, teams are more apt to test the secondary instead of running the ball more. The lack of offensive production last season hid a difficiency the Cowboys did not know they had this season.

Not having Glover and Ellis hurts the pass rush.

And just think we could'nt spell playoffs with Bledsoe at QB this year what a difference a year makes.

If Bledsoe had won that game I doubt Romo would even be playing right now.....bottom line is that Bledsoe played better against the eagles the last 2 years than Romo has in one game.

Last year is last year, but did you see Bledsoe in the first game against the eagles this year, his better play almost single handedly lost that game.

You gotta give the defense some credit too for the loss to the eagles on Christmas and not just blame Romo, he can't do it all alone.

The defense has been pitiful, but for some reason they respond better with Bledsoe. It is what it is, our season is in shambles right now.

Heart and defensive game planning seem to be the lacking commodities.

Seattle, Oakland, Washington first game, etc, would like to thank Drew for being so gracious as to keep us in the game so we have a chance to win....We didn't win any of these games, but yes, thank goodness they were close! How many points did we have in those games? 10, 13?

Wow. Munchis is tagging hard tonight. He's in rare form.

Don't worry, he's real scarce in the "If we lose to Detroit..." thread.

He also knew how to pull out a loss.

It's a push with Bledsoe.

Yall just need to give Romo some time, yall know we wouldnt be in the playoffs if Bledsoe were still QB. Yeah Bledsoe pulled some games out in the first half of last season, but he collapsed like the Berlin wall in the second half and was horrid the time he played this season.

All this love for Bledsoe now, where was it at when he was throwing games away the first part of the year and everyone including me was wanting to give Romo a chance.

I think Romo will be fine, but I don't know about the rest of the team though.

We did'nt lose to N.O. or Philthy because of Romo, the dude needs some help.

For some reason we choke, fold, crumble or fall apart every season this time of year for years now. It's not Romos fault. Romo kept it from happening earlier.

Now I've said my peace.

I've been a Romo supporter since that blazing pre-season. I wanted him to start game 1. I also will never waver. This guy is going to provide many many wonderful Cowboys highlights in the years to come.

That's the spirit:starspin Romo is the only reason for me to get excited about this team.... And I mean the ONLY reason.

Just so you know, my response was in support of Romo. I was rebutting the previous post about how Bledsoe could pull out a win.

I am a big believer in Romo.
