The Eagles Jalen Hurts problem

He can actually talk about what a deep playoff run feels like. And give you a stat-line from playing in multiple Super Bowls and Championship games.

Dak could NEVER
No lies detected. He's still a sub-par passer. It's like you have a great sports - calibrated for racing with large brake calipers and such - but the engine is weak. Still a great sportscar...but you're not getting the optimal performance. He is 100% responsible for their very boring, predictable offense.

Our TRASH D last year blanked them in like 2 whole halves of games...how? Because they are predictable, we see them so often that even our inept D could matchup! That's a horrible indictment of Hurts!

My favorite part about these threads is how they expose a bunch of the Eagles fans who are on here trying to pretend they are Cowboys fans but just can't help themselves in these threads
Go back to the beginning and look at the posts and see how many you count. So obvious with some

So you make a post claiming to know exactly why and then when fact checked, you now ask others why?

CowboysZone!
No cowboyszone is when you doubled down on what you said even when proven wrong and yes i asked the Eagles fan about his team.

Just pointing out that no amount of adverse quarterback issues at the quarterback position on the Eagles makes the Dallas Cowboys any more able to compete for a Super Bowl.
It doesn’t really change much for Dallas.

All I know though is that as a Dallas fan, I’m glad that Hurts is Y’all’s QB.

I agree with you. But for some reason there are those QB’s that can’t take advantage of a good situation. Looking back at those Bills teams with Kelly, it’s almost difficult to believe he didn’t win at least one. Swap out Dak and Hurts on that 2024 Eagles team and I believe Dak finally gets to wear a ring. Jerry sure as hell isn’t building a team like that.
At the risk of straying too far off topic, Jim Kelly and the Bills were only a missed field goal in their first Super Bowl against the Giants away from a ring. Then they got blown out the last three Super Bowls in a row (Washington and of course Dallas twice). Kelly was hurt early in the 52-17 loss to Dallas but at that point the Cowboys were already starting to take control anyway.

It's interesting to think how history might have remembered Kelly and those Bills teams as a whole if they even managed to win one of those Super Bowls.

Because we already know what Tony Romo's legacy is and we are getting closer and closer to Dak finishing his career the same way.

I only watch eagles twice a year. The 2 times cowboys play them every year. I don’t watch any other teams for fun that much. Who am I gonna ask? A raiders fan? lol
Yes, yes, yes, you’ll get a true answer
But like you said, you watch them twice a year, you know it’s all Saquon Barkley

Interesting how they are turning on him.......same as they did with Wentz. Just me, but I think Roseman is setting him up for a trade by 2027.
I've said this a few times before. Once he can't run...or refuses to run, his days in Philly will be numbered. Losing coordinators almost every year doesn't help, but it's fairly obvious by now that he has become part of the problem. What has insulated him are his two Superbowl appearances (with one win). In any other city you might be able to rest on that...but not in Philadelphia. If his recalcitrance continues Roseman will absolutely "defenestrate" him in short order.

Great post.

And aside from the error that Graham never retired before we won the 2024 SB
Oh that's right. Well...the Kelce thing is correct. 1 out of 2 isn't bad

Oh well.. . You can't expect a diehard Cowboys fan like me to know every little fact about Philly.

BTW. How do YOU know so much?

Hurts has very real limitations. That limits their scheme and the plays they can run.

He just happens to play on an insanely stacked offense.

To his credit. He is clutch and isn’t afraid of big moments.

But his throwing limitations can and do hurt their offense.
He’s one of those guys that can play a role, but the team has to build their offensive philosophy around him in order to accommodate his limitations. He has been good in big moments, but game to game, below average for most of his career.

The Eagles would be smart to consider looking for ways to move him sooner rather than later.

I don’t quite know why Eagles fans rabidly defend him. Anyone who watches the games objectively can tell you he is a huge drag on what they can do offensively
