Team looked totally unprepared. The short turn around did them in IMO, didn't get the proper amount of time to prepare for the Sanchez led eagles. Eagles also played inspired football. You could tell they wanted it more.

I thought they prepared for Philly the week before? They weren't prepared for the Giants either.

Eh. We'll catch them next time.

I thought they were way more prepared and looked to be in better shape physically. All that hard work they did early on that they were complaining about looks like it paid off today. If our coaching staff is worth anything, we'll have a better shot next time.

Or the Skins

I have no problem with this game. It was set up for us to lose. We played in New York Sunday night. The team didn't get back to Dallas until 5a Monday morning. Meanwhile Philadelphia played at home at noon. We are tired. We look tired. We played tired. The league *****ed for years about us having an advantage on thanksgiving and they finally figured out a way to neutralize what they considered an advantage by making us play on the road late and then making us play the following Thursday. That's gonna affect us. It throws us out of our normal routine big time.

And let's not forget we got zero help today. The crowd is awful. Just dull noise. Shame on all of you "cowboy fans" that have season tickets that just sell them to all the opposing teams. Did Philadelphia even have a penalty called today? They mugged our receivers all game long. The PI o de on the first drive changed the entire complexity of the game. If they call that blatant PI then we probably score and it's 7-7 instead of 14-0 and a hole we couldn't climb out from

We are not as good as our record. Plain and simple.
Bull crap! All the crybabies wants to quote Parcells and say "you are what your record says you are" when we are below .500. Then when we are 8-4 it doesnt apply for some reason.

Yep - I'm not that upset. Games like this happen and they are a good team.

Ttell you what right now we will win in Philly and I don't usually say stuff like that. We have to win in Chicago and with the embarrassment of getting beat down by a division rival wearing on the team for ten days we'll be ready and we will win.

Book it!

The 10 day rest period will give us plenty of time to come up with some adjustments.

The line was sluggish and Philly's rotation kept them fresh. Receivers weren't getting separation either.

Defense seemed scared and played that way. I'll throw some blame towards RM on this. We should've been pressing more and staying away from these zones. Our guys don't play zone very well. I lost count how many times Sanchez had an open target and was able to get rid of the ball fast with no pressure. Any QB in the NFL will make you pay with that approach.

In the rematch I expect our guys on offense to bounce back big and dominate on SNF.

Defense will need to make more plays and make every effort to force Sanchez to beat you and contain the run.

Today was a punch on the chin and our boys need to respond.

All of that aside. How can we schematically get better?

I believe the Dallas offense is much more talented than Philly but when you have a coach that can scheme like Kelly it's hard to match up.

By pressing more and forcing these guys to step up. We leave way too much space open when we play zone.

The team got its but kicked.

For those of you watching at home I do have a question. Were the Eagle DB's mugging players as badly as it seemed? It seemed like Dez was getting very interfeered with by Fletcher on pretty much every ball in Dez's direction. I'm curious if I'm the only one that saw that, especially considering Ertz drew what seemed like a pretty weak holding call on Wilcox later in the game.

I didn't think so. Like the rest of the team, Dez was a no show.

They did mug Bryant.

The thing is we did not do anything in response. If something is not working, you adjust.

We kept hugging the sidelines with practically every route. Very frustrating.

I feel Philly isn't better then us, i know we got schooled, but it seems to me we made tons of mistakes both player wise, scheme wise, coaching wise. Example. ...... Running into Harris our own punt returner, just glad it didn't bounce off our players cause Philly would had another TD.

We are not very good in zone, if Cowboys want to run zone then draft players that can play zone.

Offense put our defense in bad positions all night, with the speed Philly plays on offense we needed to control time on offense to give our defense rest. Instead we go 3 and out, turnovers, run the same play 3 times and punt.

We can win the division, we can still make it as wild card, both options still on the table. If we play like tonight though go ahead and kiss the season goodbye but we will fight. We won't and can't quit on the season

Street and Williams didn't do Tony any favors. If the WR can't get the ball , then become a DB and don't let them fair catch an Int.

Those are as much on the receivers as they are on Tony.
Airballs. Romo looked pedestrian at best. I don't get it.

We got it handed to us. We played in our soft zone AGAIN which still bugs me. Not stopping the run opened up everything for Philly.

The line looked sluggish and execution wasn't there.

We can use the week off and focus on the last qtr of the season. Philly responded after taking one on the chin and now its our turn. Pulling for Seattle to win next two. Happy Thanksgiving zoners. We need to forget about this faster than the team does!

Silver lining? My man here got a promotion.

Congratulate him again please :)

Honestly I'd prefer a blowout loss (like this one) then say if we would've lost last week in a thriller to the Giants. That's much more emotionally draining, and also I think this game could be some medicine getting served up to our 'Boys. They've yet to be punched in the face, stomped on the floor, taken behind the wood shed and beaten down like they stole something. Previous to tonight they've been in every game with a chance to win it late, so I think it could be an eye opener to a young Cowboy team and could possibly be a positive impact for this team in the future.

you musta forgot the Commanders game...
