Or, probably better stated,, the evolution of this offense and how Felix elevates the overall ability that this offense can bring on a weekly basis.

Felix brings an intangable that has been sorely missed since..... well the Dorsett era, now that took quite a mental pause to think back to the last time this team had that kind of pure speed.

Thats not to say that "speed" is the only intangable that Felix brings to the game, one would have to be blind not to recognize the overall package of vision, and his elusive running ability, and thats what is adding a new diminsion this year to this offense.

Mendenhall who? Though many wont admit it, during the draft when Mendenhall was still on the board and Felix was the name on the card, displeasures could be heard nation wide.

This team hit pay dirt big time with Mr. Felix Jones, and the early payout is evident nearly every time the ball is in his hands.

As a fan, I know its almost selfesh in a sence to want more, but the feeling of gluteny,(mortal sin by the way..lol), is present nontheless.

JG may have to actually adjust the playbook slightly inorder to get Felix even more invloved. I know that there were rumors stirring around the ranch that more 2 back packages would be employed and that Felix would be more involved in screen plays. Felix will be unleashing a few more morsells out of his bag of tricks, thats undeniable at this point.

Im awaiting anxiously to see a few more wrinkles unleashed, because Felix' play certainly demands such respect, and that extra play here and there, translates directly into keeping defenses on their heals, and will open up the playbook even more for JG.

I'm really curious to see how many Zoners were like myself on draft day and never really even raised an eyebrow when Mendenhall was still sitting there. I never really believed Jerry gave it much thought. He just does not bring anything to the table that we don't already serve up.

I really doubt that Felix Jones is the Wow factor that Jerry was talking about. But in the minds of many of us during the last 3 games, we are more then willing to think Felix is the guy. OTOH, I sure like what I saw out of Miles Austin on Sunday night. While Felix should get more snaps particularly in the passing game, I also believe we'll see more of Austin because other teams will make every effort to shut down TO which opens it up for Austin but also for Felix.

I'm more then willing to consider Felix as our Wow guy but add Austin to the mix and maybe we've got our "wow baby".

I'll admit it. I was so angry about drafting Felix over Mendenhall that I called my brother to vent.

I was wrong and am glad we drafted Felix.

Felix is a very humble, down to earth and appreciative guy. Reminds me of Emmitt alot. Very respectful, looks like he is always willing to help. I said this before during draft day, I could see the love that all the people at his lil party had for him. Their were people of all races, shapes and what ever at his party and they were all happy for him.

The only thing i wan to see from him is some FIRE THAT EMMITT had, but I totatly happy with what we got
