they have a better conference record than us? even though we beat them? nfl.com has them as #5 in the nfc and us at 6 is this a mistake?

EDIT: meant conference ranking not division also just noticed that we have the same conference record so i really dont understand them being 5 and us at 6

Does it matter? They're in the NFC South. We're in the East.

If we finish in a tie record wise with them we hold an advantage. That is all I care at this point.

No we are above them. First tiebreaker is head to head.

also i agree with you hos as long as we have the tie breaker thats all i care about too.

Yes, NFL.com has it listed incorrectly right now. We're both 4-2, but by virtue of the tie-breaking procedures in which we hold the Head-To-Head win, we should be 5th.

It's pretty good for Dallas that we do play Green Bay as well so we can establish a head-to-head win against them should it come down to it.

Right now though, there isn't anyone who can tell me we don't have a great chance of winning the East outright.

That could be all the difference in the world come week 17.

We going for ATL or NO on monday?

New Orleans no doubt. They already got that #1 seed. Atlanta is a potential playoff contender that could knock us out.

I'm pulling for the ATL. We already hold the tie-breaker over the Falcons and already need to make up two (including the head-to-head DEC 19TH) against NO. Playoff 'home-field advantage' ain't the end-all-be-all... but it never hurts you.

Mornin Hostile. You're up rather early. What a great game that I didn't even get to see.
